This is my dog Buttercup. Her nose was bleeding and the wound was spreading rapidly! It was horrible. This all happened over the course of just a few days and believe it or not this started out as only a few scratches from running through the weeds!

I am not the type to spend hundreds of dollars on vet bills... NO WAY... not on a dog. I am, however, against suffering. Plus, if I won't treat my family with conventional medicine why would I treat an animal with it?
I had some tinctures made up from last fall in my pantry. I went through them to see what I had. I was going to use tinctures because the garlic poultices were not working. Tinctures are STRONG! Using my Nutritional Herbology book, and my brain, I decided to go with a mixture of Mullein, Plantain, Boneset and Red Clover tinctures. We gave them to her internally using a turkey baster once or twice a day. We also applied them like a poultice externally. Within 24 hours the swelling was going down. Within a few days it was dried up and within two weeks it was healed over. Here is the after photo. You can still see the scars but she is healed.
