Today was Runnin' with the Wolves. It was kinda cold and I forgot to wear pants over my shorts. brrr....  But I broke my PR and beat Mary-Jo and Sarah Castro! That makes me happy : ) I've been trying to beat Mary-Jo all this season and last year too. Though I didn't expect to pass Sarah! They weren't feeling too good...it was really too cold to be running three miles in shorts and tank-tops. I feel sorry for everybody else cause I was smart and wore my sweater til' right before the finish line then tossed it to Dad. Well got to go....

Well, swim team ended and i miss those peoples : (   Mostly i miss Avie and Luke....and Adam ( the coach)  I also miss getting up at 7:00 in the morning to go swim for 2 hours in the country club's outdoor pool : )

So now I have go memorize lines for Fiddler on the Roof play....fun, fun : p

I'm sooo busy this summer!    Swim team,a garden, a major role in a play, a homeshcool cross country team (that  I need to get practicing for ) paino lessons,  homeschool, voice lessons and watching my special needs sister two mornings a week....all adds up to A Lot!  Soooo, I am very busy....

I haven't wrote in awhile.  Last time I did I said i'm going to New York but I really didn't write why. Well, I'm going with my church's choir. they got invited to some other church in Fishkill (I think its Fishkill) N.W.  Anyways,  we will be there two days. One day we get to spend the day in New York, New York! i'm pretty excited.

Wow. this is a very short post.

Well I suppose I could say I just 2 busy, but that is an over-used and very lame excuse. anyways, I'll just say I hope u had a very Happy Valentines day with your sweetheart...that is if you have any. I guess for a lot of people (including me) it was def. singles awareness day. Ah, well I'm 2 young to have a boyfriend. hahaha, not that I ever am going 2. (We r kinda doing like the whole courtship thing : )

I went to see Fireproof last night! we got there about five to ten min. late. it is a pretty cool movie and anyone who has not seen it def needs 2!  I didn't cry but came really close to crying in several parts. the part where caleb apoligized was pretty sweet and i sniffed. I also liked the scene where he smashed the computer and looked up to see his neighbor staring at hm. 

we r going to winter-green for my brithday!!! Tubing yay! last year we went to an ice-skating rink. that was pretty cool.

Wow. I can hardly believe its already the February 2, 09.  soon  it will be my birthday and i'll be 14!!!   that seems kinda old to me...and scary.

Anyways, lotsa things r  happenin'  here at da vickerys.   yep thats for shore.    my family and I r going to a winter ball on the sixth that should be a lot of fun. a homeschool family is hosting this dance and we r invited!!!  its going to be line dances...I only know like 2 line dances, the Virginia reel and the electric slide but, they said ya could come even if ya didn't know how to line dance because someone will be calling out the moves. its like a vintage dance thing so me and mom and beka, moriah and sarah all got these really old dresses. Beka's is a 50's dress, mom's dress is pioner, moriah's, Sarah's and mine r all like, well I'm not excactly waht time period.  (hosannah isn''t going cuz she doesn't like to dance) Daddy, Caleb and Ethan r going 2.

beep. beep. beep. I awoke to that annoying alarm at 6:30 in the morning."What?" I glared at the alarm as i hit the off button trying to remember why I had set it at such an unearthly time. suddenly I recalled why. Oh, Noooo! we had our first race  of the seoson that day. i jumped out of bed (wide awake.lol) and threw on my racing shorts. they were huge. uh-oh. Dad had got them several days before. i pulled them up 5 inches. Much better. "What?!" sarah rolled over and glanced at me. "u better get up too if you want to eat, we have a race."  I went across the hall to hosannah's room. "Goodmorrning!" i said bouncing on her bed. "Hannah! its only 6:15! your clock is wrong."               I went back to bed.              

anyways, we headed to the race...and met Sue jones (our coach) and the rest of the team on the way. when we got the race grounds Sue gave us our shirts and race numbers.  we walked around  the field, warmed up, streched, and watched the younger kids race.

finally, the middle school girls lined up. my stomach twisted and my hands got sweaty. our team captain, jenifer, walked over to me. "good luck. Oh, by the way this race is 1.8 miles instead of  1.6."            

nice way to start a race, huh?

anyways, we started and I ran and ran and ran....all the way around a huge field and past the cheering crowds. we had finished half a mile. when i past da he leaned and said. "maybe you'll beat sarah!"

to make a long story short, I did beat sarah. and, oh, I wish I could have taken a pic of my dad's face when I came in. Sarahs face was also priceless when i greeted her at the finish line.

now, on oct. 20 is our last race. well, I think I'm not sure if we have another race or not.

P.S. My grandparents came!

Yeah, I Have had a Great summer!!!!! Its been tops! Even though I didn't get to go to the beach...      I wrote I have been busy and that is def true. We had a family with nine kids here  all under age thirteen uh, earlier this summer(they also Brought their 16 year old cousin with them.) our House was packed! then Mom, Moraih, hosannah, Sarah, and caleb went 8 hrs away to this Indian pow wow thing. They were supossed to stay 3 days.....they stayed there 5.lol  when they came back  Dad, Beka, and I headed for the call in D.C. we stayed a night and a day (I went to the top of the washinton monument!!) 

meanwhile, we are building a three room addition and a big porch..which btw is almost finished!

I joined a Homeschoolers racing team...(dad convinced me this was a good idea...Yeah, right.) me and beka are doing dances again. We conviced Hosannah, Sarah, Caleb, Ethan and dad to do a dance with us. that was funny. some people asked us to start a dance troup so we are sometime this fall. ah let's see...Oh yeah, I decided I wanted to do the swimming on a trathlathon so I have to train for that its like half a mile which is not so bad. Dad said its about 25 laps across the pool. ( I only can do 12 before I collapes...

          so, That about sums it all up....

oh I forgot we take voice lessons and we are in this big show in october so we're pacticing for that (I hae to do a hula hoop and I don't really know how...)

yesterday we went to go see some fireworks at Liberty University! they, by the way have the best display of fireworks in V.A.  we saw them in the stadium! I have never seen them soooo close! it was awesome! After we saw the fireworks we played on some of the rides they had. let me tell you those blow up things were slippery!  Dad and I had a race up a HUGE rock wall. uh, no, I didn't win.
