98% Dixie! And Ellie's Update

Hey yall, Thank you so much for your prayers! Ellie has done excellent! She still goes to the other rooms calling Alex's name , but she hasnt cried at all. At night I stay in her room till she is asleep and in the morning she wakes up and starts playing with herself...which was a real shocker to us because she never has been able to stay in a room by herself before. But God works in great ways!

 Also I took a quiz that someone posted the other day (somethin like.. 0% is pure yankee and 100% is pure dixie) and I was 98% !!! Yeah!  The grade said that General Lee must have been my father! I grew up in the middle of South Carolina ....so maybe that had somethin to do with it! So then I took it again and I answered them all as yankee as I could and I got a 67% So I guess I just dont make a good yankee! Sorry!! LOL Well anyway got to go so ttyl

Alex is going home!

Hi yall, today is Alex's court day ( my 3 year old foster sister!) so she will be goin to live with a aunt of hers... she is really goin to like it ther becuz she will be near her 4 year old sister Jackie. I just hate that all 3 sisters are goin to be split up... Im not sure how Ellie is goin to do, she generally "shuts down" when Alex isnt around. Ellies pholosophy is"If Alex can do it so can I" . All they have is eachother now... both parents are in prison for life bcuz of what they did to them. So please pray for Ellie , she has a different father so she has no real family but her 1/2 sisters , but their family doesnt want her cuz she isnt a blood relative to any of them. I would keep her in a heart beat! She is soo adorable! Our family is praying about what to do...she will be staying with us a few more months. I will put a pic of them on here so you know a little more about who you are praying for!

Body Worms.......OOOOOHHH GROSSS!

Yesterday my sister-in-law and I were decorating for a baby shower and she was talkin about this show on animal planet .... like worlds weirdest animals or somethin .She said that there are these worms that live near your bladder and they are about the width of a pencil but twice as long! You can have up to 15 in you at once and they stay for like 30 years! Most people dont know they have them unless one tries to come out.... and if they try it sorta tears your bladder up cuz they are very sharp.  Now how do they get there? They live in water somewhere in Africa and when people get in the water it burrows into the skin and finds its way to your bladder! So it is very unlikly you or me have them....but if you have gone to Africa please stay away from me!

Hey yall, Im Kate. I've never had a blog before so Im not sure if I will be any good at it ...but i will give anything a shot! I have 4 brothers Russell(24) , Justin(19) , Joey(13) , and  Jake(11) and then I have one sister Jessi(26) . We foster children under pre-school age ... right now we have two girls one is 21months (Ellie) and the other is 3 (Alex) . But Alex will be leaving us this Wednesday and Ellie will probably stay another month. I like fostering alot! We are looking to adopt a sibling group but so far we havent found anyone.

  We just moved into the country about 2 years ago and we sort of set up a little farm! My dad and my 2 older brothers built our log home all by themselves so our house is kinda custom made! We have 2 dogs Delta and Jack , and we also have 18 chickens. We are looking into getting goats and meat rabbits. This year we are starting a garden and the plan is to can and freeze the vegtables and fruits, but we've never done it before so any tips would be nice! I am going to try an put pics of our place on here for yall ... but we will see how that goes! 

This may be a really stupid question but what does RSS mean?I cant figure it out but alot of yall have like "My Blogs RSS" on your page. I was just wondering!
