More on the Double Notebook
Well, I purchased another Double Notebook tonight- this time it's in green and blue. I plan to use this one for my lesson plans. I want to put the older children's lessons in the front section and the younger children's lessons in the other section or something like that. I will take pics when I get it completed.
Here's a few pics and one of the upc code.

Camp 08- "Jesus, The Last God Standing!"
God met with us once again this year at camp! God is so faithful! I attended the same camp for the first time when I was 16. God met me there, now 20 years later, my husband and I had the privilege of taking our two older children and the same God who moved in our lives 20 years ago, moved in our children's! He didn't change! Oh, yes He did! He got better!!!! People want to leave legacies to their children-money, popularity, businesses- but there is none greater than salvation & truth! I thank God for having second generation campers.
Here is a short video of the reaction of the Rapture Drill we had while there- there is no sound because it was recorded on my picture camera and I just figured out how to turn the sound on last night-ugh! We had three scriptures to memorize- Isaiah 43:10-11; Psalms 95:6; Deuteronomy 11:16, then attend a showdown class -the theme was centered around Elijah and the prophets of Baal and last, we had class presentations. When everything was completed, we received our "Holy Ghost Badge" to get to "heaven" when the sound was heard. We had 60 seconds to make it to the sanctuary (heaven) if not, then you were closed outside. If you didn't have all your requirements done and a Holy Ghost badge, then you were left outside, too.
My son had a unique experience. Because of urgency to make it to heaven, my son fell down. The kids didn't trample him or leave him. A group of them picked him up and carried him into heaven and then put him down once they all made it in! How much more should we do for our brothers and sisters in Christ. When they fall, instead of talking about them and putting them down, we should uphold one another in prayer and fasting, so we can all make it in-okay here's the video:

Okay- I think I'm back now
Wow, what a whirlwind of a month it's been! I am enjoying every bit of it, too. Well, we closed on our new March 27th!!!! God is so good. Due to my husband being laid off 4 years ago, we were living with my parents. We have not had our own place to live for that long! I am thankful for my parents and their love and support while we were trying to get back on our feet. It was during these four years, I have found who my real and true friends are and those who really love us. Yes, we had some hard times, but I don't regret any of it. It is during the hard times that you find strength through Jesus and His amazing grace. The song says:
Never would have made it, never could have made it without you.
I would have lost all, but now I see how You were there for me.
I'm stronger, I'm wiser, I'm better, much better.
When I look back over all You've brought me through,
I can see,
You were the One I held on to...
I am so grateful and thankful, that I can't say it enough! We actually have enough space in the house to have a school room!!! I've never had one before-not that it's needed, but it's nice to have a place to put all of our school related stuff. While living with my parents, my bedroom was- a bedroom, a living room, a schoolroom and little library. I don't ever want to hear anyone use the excuse that they can't homeschool because they don't have enough room!!! I am a witness, it can be done. BTW, if anyone has any pictures of their school rooms or schooling space, it would be greatly appreciated if you shared them with me. I am in need of a few ideas.
Here's a picture of our blessing!
Try not to be jealous of our yard! They are coming to sod & seed it any day now...
Once we finish unpacking and getting settled a little more, I'll be back to blogging.

Pastor's Wife Update
Thank You for your prayers! God is answering them...
Last night my pastor preached and told us what happened. The doctors said this, the doctors said that...but whose report do you believe? I will believe the report of the Lord! Right now, she is opening her eyes, shrugging her shoulders, shaking her head yes and no, moving her head, squeezing hands, and someone said something that was funny and she smiled. She is trying to talk, but she still has the tube in her mouth and those will be gone shortly, too! Keep praying and believing!

Prayer Request
Please remember my pastor's sweet wife in prayer. She was rushed to the hospital Sunday morning with an aneurysm. I believe and know God as a Healer. If you know the power of prayer, please pray with me. God knows her name and knows exactly where she is. Also, remember my wonderful Pastor and his family in this trying time. Thank you.

Creation Museum
WOW! Is really all I can say. I was completely impressed with the Creation Museum! The best way for me to describe the quality of the place is to say, the place looks like something Disney would have at one of their theme parks! Very high quality and, and...it was just GREAT!
Our church took a trip there this past weekend. Our youth group originally sponsored it with the plans of taking about 15 people. Well, my mom's Adult Sunday School class is covering Genesis so this was perfect for them and my husband and I wanted to take our children, so we figured it would be fun to go with the church versus going alone. After other homeschool families joining in and the rest of the church, there were about 130 of us altogether! It was so much fun to go with our church family.
If you ever get the opportunity to go anywhere near the Creation Museum, it is so worth the effort to go!
Since my older children were pretty much with their friends, the plan is to go back and see the things that they missed.
The Word of God is true and the Creation Museum backed it up and brought it to life for us...
My all time favorite part was Noah's Ark! It was great and very visual. Here's some pics:
