I was born in Africa in 1990 - I never thought I would go back there so soon in my lifetime. But I just came back from the place I continue to keep close to my heart - Kenya. I am fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to go back to where I grew up - where my roots are, in Nairobe and Mombasa, Kenya. My family and I had so much fun. It was great for both my dad and me because we had both grown up there at one point and time. I was able to see my grandmother, aunt, uncle, sister, and nephew - who still live there today. We talked so much and were able ot tell one another different stories. I told them all about my new life here in America, and they were very proud of me. My uncle and I played pool together, and we all went to the beach. I had some time to talk to my sister, and that was a special time. We ate chapaties and ugali - old school Africa food. It brought me back to the days when we ate them often - although it wasn't very often. We definitely enjoyed our time together, looking at pictures and bringing them together with my new family. The experience was one i will never forget! Not to mention our stop in Istanbul, Turhey on the way back. We stopped there for 3 days. We looked at the different mosques, museums, the Sultan's Palace with diamonds I'd never seen before! The most crowded area within the Sultan's Palace was where all the crown jewels were held - there were emeralds, diamonds, rubies, pearls, everything. I was like, "wHaT?!?!" SOMEbody call the DOCtor!! Anyways, we ended it all at the grand bazaar where my sister and mom shopped (man...that was long), and flew trhough Frankfurt, Germany on the way home. That was the 12-hour flight - WOAH!!! I had a lot of fun. The whole trip makes me thankful for what I have. I will never take advantage of anything I have here. I trust in God to bring each and every day to me as it is.

yo bloggers this is the best dude in the USA speaking. lol. I am just kidding. So whatsup? Some of the time I like to spend with my little sister, she is 4. I read story books to her. I should get the brother of the year award. lol. I don't know much about being a big brother, but I try. It's not cool when you don't spend time with your sisters or brothers, they get lonely some times. It's not fun being all alone. I like to talk to my friends from Kenya. I like to do that because it's the only time I get to speak in another language. I know 4 different languages and they're all from Kenya. Kenya has 25 different languages. I am going back to Kenya this summer. I am looking forwerd to that. Send me a message or leave a comment. ...peace.
