Here is a picture I wanted to share with you. This is my husband's obsession. Tilling and re-tilling and planting and manure spreading - getting the grass growing. That is his obsession. I'm glad to have my own outlet, because that definitely isn't my obsession. It sure makes a pretty picture though! :)

That is beautiful. So is your turtle picture. I loved what you had to say about eating habits too. Preach on, sister! Sugar, bah! I think the kick right now is that it is "better" for you than corn syrup, which has recently been found to have mercury in it from many sources due to the processing! Sigh. The Lord has been speaking to me about staying away from the sweets in general. I too have a strong family history of diabetes. I think I tend to do the sweets for comfort food now especially since I can't have gluten. boo hoo.

That is a great obsession to have! I'm the one that is the fanatic gardner around here. My husband doesn't have your dh obsession, but he's always helpful in getting me resources to get it all done.
