Just thinking...
At what point can you say to your children, "go wash you hands" and not have to say, "go wash your hands with soap" to get them to wash their hands with soap??
Or, at what point can you say, "you may be excused" and not have to say "what does excused mean?" to get them to take their dishes to the sink??

LOL! Hmm.. Based on my experience, I'd say from around age 7-8 & up.

When I get to thinking like that I then wind up feeling the Lord nudge me and say, "When are you going to learn that when I say leave it with me, you should leave it with me?" or whatever my recent lack of full obedience is. Obviously I still need some training, so must my children. : )
