All right.
I'm sure all of you know about going-ons in Congress, and the Dems outright slandering of Republicans as you can see here in this Utube video Enough Of The Mob - particularly Republicans that have attended Healthcare Town Meetings and that have attended Tea Parties.
It has also been said that: (I did not attend one of these events, but I am a conservative) we are angry we lost the election and are sore losers, that we are Bible thumpers, that we have been sent to these events by Republican organizers and not because it was our own idea. Our local representative, Brian Baird, called us Brownshirts (referring to Nazi Brownshirts) as stated in our local paper, The Columbian. Most people know how quickly Congress rushed through the stimulus plan, without the possibility of reading the plan, before it could be seen and reviewed by ordinary Americans. They wish to pass the Healthcare "Reform" quickly as well. You know the polls are strongly against government run healthcare, yet they go ahead. I heard one media spokeswomen say, "they may not know what is good for them". I heard another media spokesperson (this one on supposedly far-right Fox News) say, losely paraphrased, "Medicaid and Medicare are great things. People love them."
Well, anyhow, it's crazy stuff. It really is... The money being spent and the control being grabbed for...I COULD go on and on. Many points are obvious. They should be obvious. But, beyond that which is obvious would even be WORSE than that. There are so many ramifications..Ramifications on free choice. Ramifications on small businesses. Ramifications on our economy. I know, regardless of the outcome, God is in control and has a plan to win as many people over to Him as possible. He will strengthen His children and provide for them no matter the outward going-ons. Yet, wouldn't it be better, if we as a people could honor Him with our hearts and our actions and if He would allow us to not "drink from that cup" just right now?
I clicked on this CitizensInCharge from this Mom's site, 4 Little Men And Girly Twins. Now, maybe something like this might be a good idea. Everyone gets a benefit...everyone gets absolute choice. But, even with that...GOSH let's take time. Laws need to be simplified, not made more complicated. I'm curious, if you all read through this, what are your thoughts? I'm not endorsing it, just curious as to your thoughts.

ahh Cathy you know I'm a right wing extremist :-) (LOL). You've heard my schpill and you know where I'm at on this subject. I think there are too many Americans out there that don't really care where this country is going as long as they're taken care of. Entitlement is the prevailing attitude with too many and the Libs think they're entitled to it all. No, they don't think we have the brains to invest our own money as we see fit. They don't think we have the right to our own private healthcare. Obama was caught on tape back during the primaries saying that he hoped to nationalize ALL of healthcare. He's just speaking out of both sides of his mouth right now in hopes of getting this thing pushed through and then lowering the boom on private healthcare. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT BELIEVE INT THE AMERICAN DREAM nor individualized rights and liberties. Their mentors are socialists. Yes, they want to change this country, but into something that won't even resemble what the founding fathers set up in our Constitution. It was God's blessing and hard work that made this country what it is not big government. Big goverment takes the people captive and ultimately the majority of our money will go to keep government funded institutions running. We will be working for the government instead of them working for us as it was intended. Yes, I believe God is bigger and I also believe that we are living in the end times. Much of what we're seeing is due to a society that is gluttonous, vain, and selfish. I believe America has turned from God and is being handed over into the bondage of her own lusts. We really have no one to blame but ourselves. II Chronicles 7:14 says it best.

Yep, I agree with you on it all. Just heard today on the news that Nancy Pelowski thinks it's "unAmerican" to have these town hall meetings on health care. Since when is it unAmerican for the people to voice their opinion?:((
You have some awesome pics on your blog. You've really become quite the photographer! I especially love the pics of your little ones doing things.
How wonderful you got to take a trip to Yellowstone. I'd love to do that.
