• September 11, 2009 - A Little Seamstress?

I'm not too much of a Seamstress. Not yet, anyhow. But, while I was gone my 8 year old wrote this up. Do you think she's going to be a Seamstress? Or, maybe a Pattern Maker?

September 12, 2009 - Untitled Comment Don't you love it when your daughter shows interest/gifts in an area that you don't personally possess? My 10 year old is my little homemaker type in our home. Your daughter definitley shows potential!

September 13, 2009 - Untitled Comment Better save that piece of paper. Someday when she's a clothing designer, it might be worth a lot of money!! I hope you'll let her try to follow her pattern and see how it comes out. I remember when I was ten or so, I made a pattern and my parents gave me some fabric to make it. It didn't work, but I thought on it for awhile and eventually figured out what I did wrong. I remade my pattern and it worked. I was so thrilled with myself. It was a simple thing, but still an accomplishment!! So I hope you'll let her try it out.

I homeschool my three sweet daughters on our little farm, plus live along side my sweet step-daughter, my husband, our cat, our dog, some cows, and some chickens... God has done a work in me bringing my heart closer and closer to my family. And I feel so blessed.
