Some days are harder than others. The whys and whens and hows all get lost and jumbled up, and it's just survival. I don't know why. But, on those days, God's creation gives me comfort. Did I tell you I live in a beautiful place?

October 8, 2009 - Untitled Comment Cathy,
You do live in a beautiful place, these pictures are beautiful.
I finally feel as though my head is occassionally popping above the water after a rough pregnancy and the first nine months with baby blessing. I am actually enjoying school a little more.
We just started music lessons again this fall. I thought I would teach them but without the accountability I just didn't keep up with it. I really love having music in our home even if it is beginner! My son and one of my daughters took violin until our teacher moved out of state and we never pursued a replacement. The girls took a year of piano but it wasn't the right teacher even though she was a good friend of mine. We have found a gem of a teacher and an excellent pianst as well.

October 8, 2009 - Untitled Comment I did use soft pastry wheat ground berries...I guess I will just have to try, try again. That is how this thing goes.

October 9, 2009 - Untitled Comment With a great camera..it makes you feel like your right there. Thank you for the pictures. I really felt as if I could reach out and touch that bird. The rainbow is breathtaking! Mica

I homeschool my three sweet daughters on our little farm, plus live along side my sweet step-daughter, my husband, our cat, our dog, some cows, and some chickens... God has done a work in me bringing my heart closer and closer to my family. And I feel so blessed.
