Here is my oldest waiting at the door for me to get her a plastic bag. She is heading out to the freezer in our garage to get us some meat. Don't you just love her little jacket? The arms are supposed to be short, although I think I'd like them better long. The jacket actually fits her correctly. It's like a Little Red Riding Hood jacket without the red. I wish I was a good enough seamstress to make something like that. I think I'd make them red ones just for fun.

October 28, 2009 - Untitled Comment Hi Cathy. I can't see the picture you have posted, but I bet it's cute, they always are. I just wanted to mention that I read your previous posts concerning the possible power line invasion of your land. I'll be praying about it. I know your frustration with all this. We had only lived out in the country six months when one morning we had an oil company geoligist knock at our door and tell us he and his company would be putting up an oil rig on our property (we don't own the mineral rights). So my husband imediately became familiar with all the laws concerning this type of drilling. We were able to negotiate them moving over to the boundary line but I still prayed FERVENTLY that they would find NOTHING. They didn't :-). Believe-it-or-not the land has totally recovered and you can't even tell they were ever there. I pray that everything works out for your place.
Blessings to you and yours! Julie

October 28, 2009 - Untitled Comment Adorable jacket. I wish I could sew too. But then I think of the people I know who do sew and have no time or are always starting projects or have tons of ideas that never happen! I admire those who can sew though. I was teaching myself with an old machine, but have found that I have little patience! On second thought, perhaps I should make myself learn just for the discipline!

October 29, 2009 - Untitled Comment The jacket is darling, and so is she!
You are right though...they would be adorable in red. If you make them - I'll buy one. ;-)

Blessings,
Michelle
