As promised, my b-day post...
First I will start out with the evening of Saturday, January 12:
7:00 pm-
I had a few friends over to watch Emma. I had never seen it before, and as you can tell from the quiz results on my sidebar, my personality is most like her. We had lot's of fun and drank pink soda. :)
Here is my birthday (January 13) in hours (and sometimes 1/2 hours):
8:00 am- Woke up
8:30 am- Opened a few presents from my parents.
9:00 am- Dad took me out to breakfast. We went to a local bakery called Sweet Life.
10:30 am- Me and Dad me mom and my siblings at church.
12:00 pm- Came home, ate lunch, hung out, ect...
Around 2:00- Went with my dad to the fabric store and got some more fabric...what's new??
3:00 pm- Came home and sewed (I am making another Regency Dress) a bit.
4:00 pm- Went to Jamba Juice. How I love that place...(Yes, I know it is quite un-practial to buy fruit smoothies for an terrible price when you can make them at home.)
4:15 ish- Went to my Grandpa's house and said hello to my *uncle Alex.
* I have two. One is 20, and one is 23. This is the 20 year old one..
He gave me some of my favorite candy. Yum!
5:45pm- Went back home and ate dinner...
6:00pm- My uncle* Andrew and his friend Lindi came over and brought me a gift....Heelys! (will explaine below) They also announced that they are engaged! How exciting!!!!!!!!!! And on my b-day too!!! We kinda knew that he was going to propose soon...but we weren't sure... They are getting married on July 12th. To view a picture of them go here.
* This is the 23 y.o. one.
Anyways, about the Heelys....
Every heard of them before?? If not, I will do my best to explain. They are a tennis shoe with one wheel in each heel. To roll you simply tip your right foot up and "hook" you left foot on the back, then roll..... When you first get them they are hard to walk in. But my friend Payton in Indy had some that I wore while we visited them, so I got the hang of them quickly when I got my new pair.
Well the best part of my birthday is when we went to Wal-Mart at 9 pm. Why you ask??... To Heel of course! Lindi had gotten a pair for Christmas so we stopped by her house to get them. Then off we go to Wally World. It was so much fun! Yes, I admit we looked liked dorks. Hey, at least we bought something! Too bad I didn't take pictures..
Well there is my semi-long birthday post.
I thought I might add some pictures:
From left to right: Autumn, Natalie, Me, Meredy, Kathryn (my sister) and Ellie.

The cake.
Jessica
P.S. I will try to get a video of my Heeling on here sometime....

You know you are living in 2008 when...
1. You accidentally enter your PIN on the microwave.
2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.
3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of three.
4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.
5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that
they don't have e-mail addresses.
6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if
anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.
7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the
screen.
8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't even
have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for
panic and you turn around to go and get it.
10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your
coffee.
11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : )
12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.
13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this
message.
14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.
15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on
this list.
And now you are laughing at yourself, right?

just a little something!
isn't this cute??
One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was about to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy: Tommy do you see the tree outside?
Tommy: yes
Teacher: Tommy do you see the grass outsid
Tommy: ye
Teacher: go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky
Tommy:okey.[HE returnd a few minutes later] Yes, I saw the sky
Teacher: Did you see God up there?
Tommy: No
Teacher: That's my point. WE can't see God because he isn't there. Possibly He just doesn't exsist.
A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions.
The teacher agreed and the little girl asked the boy:
Tommy, do you see the tree outside?
Tommy: Yes
Little girl: Tommy do you see the grass outside?
Tommy: yess
Little girl: Tommy did you see the sky?
Tommy: YESSSSS!
Little Girl: Tommy do you see the teacher?
Tommy: Yes.
Little Girl: Tommy do you see her brain?
Tommy: No.
Little Girl: Then according to what we were taught today in school, maybe she doesn't have one!

I HATE MATH, do you?
Yuck, I hate Math. What about you? My friend Ellie recently posted "5 tips on how to surive you math lesson". Here is mine~
#1- Pop a small bowl of Popcorn (best if made by my mom).
#2- Use a colorful, comfortable pencil and jump into your bed with your books (Does your mom let you? Mine does!).
#3- Turn on some soft music such as Alan Jackson or Norah Jones.
(Some of you may want to skip this step and just fall asleep.)
#4- Write you name and the date in a bright pink marker, that way if you start to doze off, one glance will have you up and at 'emm again.
(This is my favorite step!)
#5- If all else fails, pay (under the table) one of you siblings to do it for you.
Oh and if you would like to be a part of the MATH HATERS CLUB please let me know. I will be making membership card shortly.

That's right, Untitled again.
Ok, I know, I never post anything intersting. But here is a tiny somthing anyway.
Today we went to lit club at the Sniders. That was fun. Us girls talked alot about blogging, blogsites, ect. Now we are back home. I have been working on a few dresses latley. Two Regency dresses and a dress for my sister. So I really should be sewing now. Oh.. I took this Jane Austin heroines quiz.
I am...
Emma Woodhouse of Emma! You like being the queen of your social circle (small and provincial as it may be), and feel it's your duty to help those less influential than you. You often meddle in the affairs of others, though you do it with a pure heart. You are often deluded in your flights of fancy, but your good intentions and creative spirit make you someone anyone could like.
To take the quiz, go here. That's about it. Anyone have a topic I can write on?? :) Just kidding.
Time to say good bye,
Jessica
