Once again, like every year, I have bitten off more than I can handle.  We are getting rid of some of the work I was assigning.  School is way too long in book learning, so I'm going to scale back.  i may just assign a time limit.  I'm not sure yet.  All I know is it is too long.  Have a great day.

I have been there so many times. You never know until you get started exactly what your time will be. But that is wonderful thing about what we do...we can fit the workload to each individual child.

Have a wonderful evening.

In the past I've done the same thing ~ and I'm sure it'll happen again (wink!) I set a time limit and as long as my kids are faithfully working on their studies when times up * times up! You'll find what works best! That's the BLESSING of Homeschooling!!! Warmly, EMichelle
I forgot to ask how's your elbow? I hope feeling better each day :)

I completely understand! I made all these lesson plans and other plans just to realize it was way too much. The time limit idea is a great one especially for high schoolers. That is what I did for our DD. I would give her assignments and told her they were due in a certain amount of time. This gave her some freedom to determine how much work she could do in a day. It also taught her time management which is helping her with her internet college courses now.

Thank you for dropping by my blog for a visit. I agree with you that my Cornflake is a dandy. The only problem is that he knows it, which can make him somewhat hard to handle. LOL! My spoiled child is a sweetie, but oh so spoiled!

Have a wonderfully blessed week!
