Last Sunday was my sister Chriss's 13th birthday! We had lots of fun just hanging out and doing sister stuff! We went on a walk to the trail, and we made a few fall decorations. Chriss was very happy with a the girft she got! Here are some pics from this special day:

Okay, I finished my homework early tonight, so I have time for a new enrty.

As I certainly hope all of y'all know, today is the first day of Fall. I am happy and also slightly devastated. I am happy because fall is one of my favorite seasons. I am devastated because it is already Fall, and it seems like it wasnt that long ago that summer had just started. Well, anyway, I was happy and in a fallish mood thismorning as the weather was very chilly thismorning. I knew because I was standing out at the bus stop in my jean shorts and orange t-shirt that I stole from Katie. But then at lunch brake I lost my enthusiasm when we walked out into the light of a hot sun. So that ruined whole Fall temp. thing.

As one of you know I have just started reading the book Twilight.  Let me tell you that it is the coolest book I have EVER read in my life. I got it at Barnes&Noble on Saturday night while I was on a little girls night out with Courtney and Chriss. I am already almost half-way done with it! I know most of you will be concerned because it is about vampires, but let me assure you that they rae good vampires. They rae vampires that dont want to be what they are, so to keep them from sucking peoples blood, they suck animal's instead. As wonderful, beautiful Edward Cullen says himself, its like going on an "all soy and milk diet", but it is worth it. I would totally recommend this book to anyone!!!!!

This weekend I enjoyed going to what our youth group calls a "Homerun" Its kinda like a bible study where we hang out at a persons home afterchurch and have dinner and a lesson. This week we went to the coopers house. (Really rich people) It was so much! I had forgotten what a blessing christian friends are until I hung around them for an evening. The lesson was on being equally yoked. When I look at the people at my school, and then the people at my church, the difference is so dramatic.

Yesterday was kinda rough for me at school. It was a Monday, so I was exhausted and being around so many nonbelieves made me depressed! I'm good today, but somedays its just hard to see the light, in a place so full of darkness. I have a huge cell project due today in Biology so please pray for me! Thx!

Last night wednesday night activities started up again at our church! It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun!!!!! Chior was awesome but too short, and youth group was as awesome as ever! I should have brought my camera but I forgot! :( We had ice-cream sundays at the end of youth group that tasted SOOOO good! Chriss's friend Nick put an ocean of chocolate sauce on his so that all he was eating for a while was the chocolate! Then his brother Nathan came up to him and said "Oh, I think I'm gaining weight just looking at that!" HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, thats all I have time for!

ok, its time for a new enrty. The problem is there is nothing to blog about! :( School is fine. Church is great.  I love Courtney. Everything is normal. OOH!!!!!!!!! That reminds me!!!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!! Something interesting and HILARIOUS did happen! Last sunday. Giggle giggle! (Courtney knows whats coming) I went over to Courtney's house, nad we decided to go to the park nad write in Sea twins. Well, lol, while we were there, there were these guys riding around on their bikes, and after a while they came up and started to talk to us!!!!!!!!!!! Actually it wasnt that simple. At first one of them just shouted from far away, and asked what grades we were in! When I told them my grade he didnt believe that I was in high school. He siad I looked like a 6th grader! (Courtney can tell you that I didnt like that commnet at all, and I raved about it multipile times later!) Anyway that is when they came over and started randomly talking to us! (FLIRTS!!!!) When they asked me my name and I answered with my full name, which is Maribeth (For those who dont know its pronounced Marybeth!) Ok, let me actually start with describing each one of the boys to you. There we 4 of them. One was short nad fat with orangish hair. Another was tall with a freakily large amount of light brown frizzy hair on the top of his head who didnt talk the whole time. Then there was a short thin one with brown hair and big eyes who didnt say much either, and then there was this tall, blonde beatle haired guy who was very cute who actually did talk! lol! (But they were all idiots just so ou know) Anyhoo the one who talked the whole time the fat one. 

So anyhoo, the one who was fat asked me my name and when I told it to him he said "I think you just made that up on the spot." I didnt like that much at all!!!!!!!!!!!! The cheeky blighter! Well, i said gee thanks. And then he asked for Courtney's name and she said it was Courtney WichterSelf, and I stifled a giggle so they knew that she lied and then they just went on and on from there! It was really stupid actually! The fat kid wouldnt stop talking and the more he talked the more stupid he looked! he asked us about our book, and we said we couldnt just explain it to him like that nad he siad that if we told him "Our story" he would tell us thiers! LOL!!!!!!!! And then I said I didnt want to hear his story and then he said that it was really dramatic with tears and everything, nad it just went on and on! Courtney and I had so much fun dispising them while they flirted that we decided to come back next sunday again! There is an indescribably pleaser in dashing cold water over a hot boys shoulders you see!

Well, the first week of school is over without and drama or tardy slips or detention and unfinished homework! lol! Everything in school so far has been fine. On Friday we did a lab in Biology and I had to pick up two live worms that were fat and slimy!!!!! They were SOOO much grosser then your average worm! Thankfully there was a paper towel inbetween my hand and the worm, but it was still gross. We had to test to see weather worms are more attracted to vinagar or perfum by putting them in a box with a coffey filter on each end with either vinagar or perfume. My groups hypothesis was if the worms were placed in there, then they would be most attracted to the vinager. (See how I used the proper "if _then" form? heehee!) Well our hypothesis turned out wrong, the stupid worms were more attracted to the perfum that was totally granny sented!! lol! But anyway it was kinda fun in a freaky queamish way!!! At least I didnt have to disect it! Here is a pic of me on the first day:

Second day of public school...tired, nervous, hungry,hungry? I'meating breakfastat the moment, dont complain to me about hungry! Anyhoo, school has been enjoyable! Only one girl cussed the whole day, no one was mean to me, I met a really nice girl in chorus and the bus ride was thrilling! (lol, no seatbelts) Anyway this morning when I got up I was SO tired!!!! But I still have to make it through today, so I need to stop this post now! I'm going to do everything today in baby steps! ;)

The next place we went was camp Ebenezer which is the place we go for my mom's family get together! You see our family is SOOO big on my mom's side that in order for all of us to get together we need to rent an entire camp building! lol! But it is one of the MOST fun things about summer vacation! One of the most fun parts in that there is a girls dorm and a boys dorm and both are filled with rows of bunks three bunks high! Of course no one sleeps on the top bunks but the bottom and second bunks are always full! There is a big cafeteria room where we all eat and right next to it is the game room. The camp is only rented for the weekend so during it we pack as much fun and fellowship as possible. We went swimming, and had a cook out and some of the boys played baseball in the field behind it! Some of my girl cousins were brave and took a turn batting but believe this or not my mom actually did it and she hit every ball but one or two!!!!!!!! That was crazy bcuz I have never seen my mom bat before but she was so good!!! lol! Anyway of all the days we stay together the best day is Sunday bcuz we do our own little church service together. My grandpa used to be a menonite pastor so he always does the main lesson. lol! Dont worry he doesnt preach on menonite religon!!! He usually tells the story of his first wife and how loving God is. You see when my mom was still a little girl, her mom died from cancer I think. Even though I never met her I always tear up along with everyone else when grandpa tells the story of how she died and the way she looked when she left.  I won't tell it on here bcuz, well some things are private and dont sound the same through the internet. Anyway Grandpa obviously got married again to Mary, my step grandma but no one thinks of her that way!! We all love her a lot and her cooking! ;) I have a picture of grandpa and my first grandma when they were young!!! Its amazing how people change and yet still look the same when they get old!

 We always do singing before the lesson which is also one of my favorite parts bcuz the whole Witmer side of the faily is very musical and we all sound so good together! We split up into three groups, Soprano, Alto and Tenor and it sounds great! Thanks to Arya who showed me how,  I have a video to prove it to you! Sorry I wasnt in it!

Well anyway we had lots of fun and there were 2 new babies added to our family circle! Paityn my cousin's new baby, and Aden my other cousin's new baby! lol! Both couples are fairly newly married if you count newly married as a year or two. (I hope I spelled their names right!) Here are some pics:

Okay, time for anothing entry on vacation. Now before I do the post on my mom's get together I need to do a post on going to my mom's parent's house.

So we went to grandma and grandpa's house for lunch one day and as usual we ate way WAY more then we should have of grandma's deliscous food! But hey, it was vacation and if you had known how good her food is, you would have done the same thing! lol! After we had finished we sat around for a while being full and talked. Then we did one of the most fun things on this vacation... We got to drive grandma and grandpa's golfcart around!!!! lol!! It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOo much fun and it was a little freaky for me too!!! It was the first time I had ever driven any verhicle and it was thrilling, but thankfully there were no cars on the road at the time! Here are some pics:

The next place we traveled to was PA to our grandparent's house. We had lots of fun together going to the pool, catching fireflies at night, driving around Lancaster (Which is pronounced Lankester not Langcaster)  and lots of other fun stuff.

One day we drove around touring the Amish counrty. This is a covered bridge. People used to make them this way so that the horses would get scared of the water!

Ahhhhh!!! Sweet, sweet computer!!!!! lol! I'm at my Aunt Dana and Uncle Bill's house! (he works at the White house!) Anyhoo, its finally time to up date about CT!!!

Okay, well first off on saturday we left for CT at 4:30am, and we planned to stay in a hotel that night. But instead, when it was time to stop we didnt really feel like stopping yet, so we kept on driving and we got in CT at 10:30pm!!! We drove 15 or 16, maybe more, hours in the car that day! Of course we were all VERY tired so as soon as we got to the Guffey's house. (Matt Guffey's family's house) The next day we went to our old church in the morning. It was like taking a step into the past! All the same people and things we there.  After church we had a party at the Guffey's house and invited all our old friends from church. It was lots of fun! We hung out and ate pizza! And of course the girls played guitar hero III!!!!!  Oh and did I mention that they have an adorable female dog named Daisy!? Here are some pics of her!

That night we stayed at our friends the Pilato's house! We made a little movie together and then the next day we met our family at the ocean! It was lots of fun, but just our luck, the camera ran out of batteries just as we got there, so no pics! That night Mr. Guffey gave us a tour of a submarine! It was really cool nad we did get some pics!

Hey everyone! Sorry its been a while but I dont have any internet access at my grandparent's house! :(  Right now I am at my other grandparent's house for the day, but I will be leaving this afternoon, so no computer for a while again! 

Anyway we are in PA! Its been lots of fun, and I love seeing the horse and buggies go by all the time! I got my very own Amish doll with out a face!!! (The Amish believe that if  it  had a face it would be like an idol)  I love her, and I named her Camille! (It just seemed to fit!) Oh! I have some really good pics from CT, but they arent on this comp so y'all will just have to wait!!!

Hey everyone! I'm in CT now!!! Actually we were supposed to get here this afternoon, but we travled until 10:30 last night instead, so we got here early!!! And so thismorning we got to go to our old church!! It was so nice to go and see everything and everyone again!! Nothing has changed except the people who have all grown up a few years since I had seen them!!! The church still doesnt have air conditioning though! I know what your thinking. You think that isnt CT so its not that bad anyway, but you are WRONG!!! Its hot and VERY humid here!!!!!! Worse then GA!!!! You see CT doesnt get humid very often, but when it does it goes the whole nine yards in doing it!!!

Sorry, no pics yet! I will post some as soon as i get em!! We are going to the ocean tomorrow, so I will post some from that some time!!! I CANT WAIT!!! The ocean is the best place on earth!
