Hey everyone!

I know I haven't been on here for a while- I've been kind of out of the loop with school and everything. Leave me some comments!

A woman was asked by a coworker, "What is it like to be a Christian?"

The coworker replied, "It is like being a pumpkin." God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. Then He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see."

Hello Amanda,

I noticed a while back that you had added me to your friends list, so after checking out your blog (which is lovely btw) I decided to return the favor. :-)

So you got to go to the Rebelution conference too? I know several people who got to go. It sounded so awesome and I really wanted to attend the one in Dallas but we had previous arrangements planned. :-( Ah, well.

I love the pumpkin analogy. I've read something similar to that before and it's always encouraging. It gives me a rather renewed feeling overall. Thanks for sharing that. :-)

Comment From the Rebelution

Amanda, I wanted to comment about a comment that you left on the Rebelution's latest post. I so agree with you and the other girls who have opted not to do the college route. I also have chosen that way; it certainly is the less traveled though. I sure wish people could understand that just because we don't want college doesn't mean we plan on being stupid! I have chosen not to get involved in the debate that seems to be taking place, but I wanted you to know that I am with you and the others!
