I used to say that homeschooling was our lifestyle but now I say our lifestyle is our homeschool!
Lifestyle Homeschool is about discipling our children; about character training, about everyday life giving learning opportunities, about Bible study and practical skills. Your lifestyle will provide the experiences that will give your children a rich education.
We have been home from holidays for 2 weeks now and I can’t believe how much we’ve packed into that time – it seems as if we’ve been home for at least twice that long.
I’ve sorted, planned and a course of study for the older two and in particular typed up their assignment sheet for the next 10 weeks.
I’ve been writing lots – but more about that another time.
A friends invited the girls and I for a helicopter flight to see the waterfalls.

We took a couple of hours off last Friday and drove off to find a swimming hole.We went to Valentine Springs which was well and truly flowing.We had a great time in the water and climbing rocks.

We’ve been to a whole day seminar about lay pastor ministry in the local church.
Then of course, there was the Reading Celebration which I wrote about yesterday.
The one thing that hasn’t happened, that I had planned to happen in February, is a serious effort in decluttering. We may get our focus on that this week…. Maybe!
