I go to Awana, well, let me explain what Awana is: Awana (for those of you who don't know) Awana is a place where I go to memorize bible verses; we meet every week at our church on Sunday at five thirty. Yester day I went to Awana. I am in 6th grade, the Cubbies are three and four year olds, the Sparks are Kindergarten through 2nd grade, T&T (Truth and Training) T&T is 3rd-6th grade, JV (Junior Varsity) is 7th-9th, and SV (Senior Varsity) is 10th-12th grades. So I'm in T&T.
I'm in 6th grade and the last year of T&T, next year I'll be in JV. I may become a helper to one of the leaders in T&T next year though.
There are four books of verses one for each grade. I'm supposed to be in the fourth book since I'm in the 6th grade, but since I just started this year I started in book one (the 3rd grade book) , I sped through book one and now I'm in book two (the 4th grade book).
Every week the Awana clubbers meet, we play games. Every year there is a competition against other churches and we play those same games.
My team was the Denton Bible Church and we had won the year before.
I was running in a three person two lap relay (each player runs two laps) I was the second to go and we were going to win when our anchor man (the last runner) the anchor man cut the pin and we were illuminated from that race and I was so mad because I had passed one player and we were going to win.
I was also in tug-o-war and I won and it was a very close game but I still won with the other guy that I was with.
In the end the Denton Bible Church team won in both boys and girls teams and the boys’ team had their second in a row and the girls had their third in a row.
I had fun...
Until next time,
Good Bye.
