Today was the memorial service for Lou Emery. He died on Tuesday... We've known the Emery's for a while now, but only until last christmas did we really get to know them very well. We went christmas caroling over there and then they invited us and the Neashams over for sloppy joes. Then we did some yard work for them this summer. Lou had had a problem with his lungs where, they were steadily shrinking and it was only a matter of time. He didn't end up dying from suffocation though like the doctors expected, he just passed away peacfully. There were over 400 people at the memorial service today, it was prety big. He was 79 years old and I think his wife is probably around that age too :). I dunno what more to say about it, but he was definately a strong christian and had a personal relationship with God :). If any of you would, pray for Marcy(his wife) and the fam, it's still a hard loss even if he is in heaven now :).
That's all I can say about that... We went to figio last night and it was really good! Has anyone ever heard of Mike Riddle? He was the speaker last night, was a drill seargent in the marines I think... or I heard :P. he definately was in the marines though ;). something that stuck with me was Mark 10:6. Apearantly, Jesus beleived in creation too. So if he was God, then it would have to be correct :D.
Oh, and tonight's the Harvest Party, so I'll probably type something up about that! seeya l8er!
