Working Out the Quinques

Mar. 21, 2007

I'm sure most of you don't watch American Idol, but with teenagers in the house, we do.  And we actually enjoy it.  Simon is mean, but he's almost always right.  Paula is a flake.  And Randy.  Randy Jackson is doing his part to bring the English language to new lows.  Last night after one particularly good performance, he said, "So dog, you know I've always been a fan, but tonight, tonight you got the massive yo factor going, know what I mean?"  He's speaking in tongues and we need an interpreter.

Be thankful ~

Thanks for inviting me to read your blog.

Yesterday my daughter had a friend over. I accidentally said, "I know the story I'm upona" My daughter thought I was trying to be cool and speak gangsta. LOL- NO!! I assure you it was a slip or a slur of the tongue!

My kids are critiquing them also, we watch it when we can. The examples our kids have to follow? Thankfully they are us and not the world.
