Jul. 29, 2007 - It's Back to School Time! New Changes in Our Household
This year, we've enrolled our sophomore into the Connections Academy program. Since moving from San Diego to Las Vegas, we knew that we wanted to continue with a home based learning program that was recognized by the state. My husband and I also wanted assistance with his math and chemistry. We also realized that it would be helpful to find something that would provide balance for schooling and his personal schedule.

we're going to put my freshman daughter into an online program this year. i am excited about *not* having to keep track of transcripts!

You are doing your children a great service by home teaching through high school. All three of my adult daughters have thanked me and two of the three have already decided to home teach (the third isn't married yet). This is the time in their lives when they need the stability the most. Well done!
