Dec. 16, 2007 - Business Etiquette Question: Email or Mail Christmas Cards
This year I not only mailed Christmas cards to our family and friends but our business contacts and customers. One of our customers stated that if she didn't have one's email that person would not be receiving a Christmas card.
My question is: Is it acceptable business etiquette to email their customers and business contacts' Christmas cards?
I look forward to reading your responses.

I believe an e-mailed card is perfectly acceptable unless you are in a very traditional workplace.
However, it should be done in good taste and probably without music.
Merry Christmas, my friend! I've missed you around here.

I value a paper card much more than an an e-mail. But I suppose that mailing paper cards to all your customers can get expensive. I have only 50 tax clients, so I do mail to them instead of e-mail, but I might change my mind if I had 200 clients!

this is off topic, but I saw that you're a friend of Marsha (drewsfamilytx)'s (as well as one of my friends), so I wanted to ask you to pray for her. If you're not sure why, please stop by my blog.
thanks. |
