My friend Joy tagged me from her blog. (Thanks Joy!) Apparently I have to write 7 things you don't know about me.  Hmmmm.....this might get boring. I don't have a whole lot of cool things to say. However, I will attempt to shock and awe you with my exciting life.

1.  I like peanut butter and bacon sandwiches.  I also like peanut butter with cheddar and  have been known to dip my chunk of cheddar right into the peanut butter jar. (only when I'm desperate of course)

2. The first song I learned harmony to was "Blessed Assurance".  I still love that hymn.

3. I used to work in  a Bridal shop where I would go into the change room with soon-to-be brides and help them try on the dresses, pinning and hooching as I went.  I was 17 and totally overwhelmed.

4. I really like the kids' show "Peep and the big Wide World" and have been known to watch it even without my children.

5.  My favourite novel of all time is Tess of the D'ubervilles.  I cry every time I read it and it actually alters my mood. My husband once asked why I was angry and I couldn't pin point why until I realized I was still thinking about the chapter I had just read.

6. John Donne is my favourite poet, and his sonnet "Batter my heart, three-personed God" is my favourite of all.  I also like "The Flea" but it is pretty racy.

7.  I take my coffee double double.  I tried for awhile to drink it black, but really, why bother?  If you are going to drink a coffee you might as well enjoy it.

So there are 7 not very interesting things about me.  But maybe now you know something you didn't before.  I am supposed to tag someone else now, but I really have no blog friends except onfire and maybe MrsPages  so if you read this and feel so inspired, consider yourselves tagged.  Maybe tomorrow I will blog a little more deeply.  Like about how I like crumpets toasted with a lot of butter....my thrilling life has no end!
