A walk at Peatland Park!

The other day (Wensday, I think) mum and my other siblings went for a walk at Peatland's Park, a place with acres of bog land, and lots of ducks! Here are some photos - enjoy!

Some fungi

My littlest brother!

Here is a dragonfly that landed on a bogland sign post.

This is part of the bogland walk, you can't see much of the boggy parts in this photo.

We also fed the ducks some left-over crusts - fun!

The bread sure atracked all the ducks!!

Below: Another type of fungi!

Well, I hope your day has been great!!

Bethany

Nov. 5, 2009 - Hi!!

Hello!

Thank you for the comments, sorry it took me so long to reply back!

This is how I learned to increase - it can be used anywhere in a row. But it can add only one stitch.

1. Knit into the stitch where you want to increase in the usual way, but do not drop this stitch off the left-hadn neddle.

2. Insert the tip of the right-hand needle into the back of the same stitch on the left-hand needle.

3. Knit the stitch again so that you now have two stiches on the right needle.

4. Drop the original stitch off the left needle. You have now increased by one stitch and can continue to knit the row.

We got your letter today - thank you!!!
