So, we are heading home now. We are in Redding right now, which I don't think is very well know. I haven't seen a whole lot of it, so I can't really say if it's nice or not. But, it is fine, since we are just dropping in for the night. I can't believe our trip is almost over! It's so crazy! The first week went by really slowly, yet quickly if that makes any sense. But, now it is the opposite - slow yet quick - but things are going pretty good. I think we are starting to get sick of each other though, but then we have those times when we have a great time together. Yesterday, we stopped in Hollywood. SOOOO CREEPY DOWN THERE, GUYS AND GIRLS!!!!
That is definitely a place that needs God. It's so scetchy down there. Girls dress really skimpy, and guys are........well, they are your typical non-christian guys. Being down there was really scary, but I definitely noticed how desperately they need God. Some of the girls there also don't respect themselves, and basically are prostitutes. It is really sad! Guys and Girlies, we need to pray for that place and the people that live there. I don't know if they know it, but they REALLY REALLY need Him.
Then we went up into Beverly Hills, and I was nice, but I just don't really like Hollywood very much. That place scares me!After dinner, at a hot dog place called Pink's, we continued on our way, and kept driving til about 11 something. I was SO TIRED!!But, yeah.
Today, we got up at about 8 or so, and at about 10 or after, we headed off to Denny's for breakfast, and then we started on our drive. Today, we also visited the Jelly Belly factory, and we got to hear about and see from a movie how jelly belly's are made. It was pretty cool! And, I bought quite a bit of jelly beans. They are so good though! They have some new flavors out now too. Such as: Birthday Cake, Mint something, and several other ones that i can't name at the moment. But they are really tasty! So, yeah! Now I am in my dad and brothers hotel room, writing to you all. Tomorrow, we are continuing on our way back home, so yeah. Please pray that God will bring us safely back to Abbotsford and to you all. I'm excited to be coming home. Well I will let you all go.
I will talk to you all soon!Love you guys!

So, we are still having a pretty good time here in California. I am in San Diego now(we arrived here yesterday), and yeah, things are going pretty good. It is kinda scary ,though, cause all these things have happened since we arrived. Like you can't buy three types of tomatoes for a while, cause one of them might cause samonella, and then this guy, who was arrested for some reason, escaped from the police, hand cuffed, and now he is running loose. It's freaky!
I have been having a good time ,though. On our way to San Diego yesterday, we stopped at this look out point, and there were some really tame looking sqirrels, and there were a bunch of them. So, my mom said to Katie that she should feed them some chipy thing called, Chex Mex. So we did, and they would actually take the pieces from our hands!!!Then, my mom brought out an apple and started cutting up pieces for them, and they loved it!We fed them 2 whole apples! Then today, we went to Sea World, and we got to feed the Dolphins. We had to buy a tray of three fish, and then we were allowed to feed them and touch them. It was SO COOL!!!They feel really rubbery, but sweet! They were hilarious too, cause they were hitting this toy out of their tank, and it would splash people, and you could see that they were laughing. It was so funny and fun! I also got to watch the Killer Whale show, and it was really cool, too! They are such beautiful and incredible animals!
Today, I started to get a bit homesick though. I had enough of being on the road and away from home, my friends, and my church, and I just really wanted to go home. But, I think God is using this to prepare me for the mission's trip. During the mission's trip, I can't just all of a sudden decide I am going home. I will have to stick it out, and just focus on God and spreading his love, and just deal with it. I am glad he is teaching me this now. God so amazing!
Well I am gonna go now!
Talk to ya'll soon!I love you guys tons and miss you a whole pile, and I will see you when I get home!

WE ARE FINALLY THERE!!Today, we reached Anehim, CA. It is pretty nice, and I have never seen so many palm trees in my life!Well, actually I saw a huge orchard of them on the way down. It is pretty sweet. The drive down to LA was long and tedious, cause we hit rush hour, and rush hour here is SO bad compaired to the ones in Vancouver/Surrey/Langley/Abbotsford area.
Today was pretty good though. We slept in this morning, and once we got up, we had to wait for our laundry to be washed and dried, and then at like 12 we went out for breakfast. After, we went to the beach, and went in the sand for a few minutes, and then we went on the pier and did a bit of shopping. After that, we bought some ice cream, and then it was time for us to get moving, cause we had to be reach LA by this evening. And, that is where I am now.
God has been so good to us lately, too. The car is still driving like a dream, and yeah he is just really taking care of us on this trip. He has also been helping all of us to be positive towards one another, although we have had a few rought moments, but we are doing pretty good. God is SO amazing!
Well I should go
I still miss you all, and I will talk to you guys soon!
Love you all tons!

Today was a pretty good day. We got up pretty early this morning, cause we wanted to spend some time in San Fransisco for a little while. We did some shopping, and I bought some stuff. We also visited this old World War II submarine. It was really interesting to look at, and there was this older guy, who worked there and who used to be in the navy on a similar ship, and he talked to us for quite a while, answering our questions and telling us really interesting things about the USS Submarine. It was SO cool!
For lunch, we went to this really cool restraunt called Rainforest Cafe. It was so fun, and the food was pretty good ,too. After that, Mady and I went to one more store, and then we decided to get going. So we drove for ages, and I finished the book I was reading - 'Fairest' by Gail Carson Levine, it was really good. We made many stops ,too, for bathroom breaks, snack shopping, dinner, and to buy gas for the car.
At about eleven o'clock pm, or sometime after, we finally arrived at our hotel. It looked kinda gross from the outside, and it was a lot worse inside. It was pretty dirty, and none of us wanted to stay there. Sadly too, my Mom, William, and Mady had to stay in a different room than us, and theirs smelled like dog, and William started to get hives. And, for those of you who don't know this yet, William is highly allergic to dogs, as well as many other animals and foods. So, yeah. Finally, my Dad had had enough or the gross room, and he phoned my Mom's room and said to her that he wanted to find a different hotel. So, he looked up some hotels in the phonebook, and the first one he called had two rooms for us. We are there now, and it is SO much nicer. Thank you, Jesus!
Thanks for your comments, guys and girls. I'm so sycked everytime I see that you guys have commented. Josh, tonight your comment made my night. Thanks, man! I hope math 12 goes well for you! Please keep me updated on how it's going. :) Guys and girls, once we all graduate, we all have to do some traviling together! It would be so cool traveling with ya'll.
I am enjoying being on the road, but I miss being at church. I was just thinking about that today, but God has definitely been with us on this trip. Our van was giving us some trouble a few weeks ago, but since we have been on the road it has been going pretty good. Praise God!
Well I am going to go. I miss you all tons, and I love ya'll, and I will talk to you guys soon!
Take care, and God bless you all!

So, America is pretty sweet so far. LOTS of farm land in between the cities along the highway, and lots of mountains/forests along the coast. We are having a pretty good time so far. Yesterday(Day 1), we got up at about 6, and we passed through the boarder without any problems. God blessed us with a super nice guard, too. It took us a while to stop for breakfast, though, cause my dad missed the exit for one of the restraunts that we wanted to go to, but we found another one several minutes later. Here in America, the popular breakfast place, is Denny's and that is were we wanted to go.So, we had breakfast there and it was really tasty.
After breakfast, we drove for hours, with quick bathroom/snack abd water shopping breaks. And at one point, we stopped at this super nice beach called 'Cannon Beach'. It had some really beautiful rocks and landscape. I took some pictures, but we will have to wait a few days or so before I can load them on. Cause for the last two nights, we have been getting to the hotels really late at night, so we don't have a lot of time to relax after the long drives. All in all ,though, we are having a good time.
Today(Day 2), we went to Ripley's Believe it or Not, and we also went to the Sea Lion Caves. Both were pretty cool. Oh!And, we also did some shopping today. I need to start looking for sales and choosing items with resonable prices, though, cause I have already spend a pile of money. It took us longer tonight to get to the hotel too. We didn't get here(i am sitting in the hotel room right now) until about 10 PM or after. But, yeah.
Oh! If you guys could pray for my mom, that would be super! She has a cold right now, and her voice is starting to go really hoarse, and she has to talk all the time, so please pray that God will heal her voice, so that we can all enjoy this trip even more.
Well, I should go now. It is really late, and we have to get up earlier tomorrow, so yeah.
I love and miss you all, and I will hopefully talk to you guys soon!
God bless you guys too!

So, in three days, including today(Friday), I am leaving with my family for the Oregan Coast and Disneyland! It's crazy how quickly it is approaching!I am not totally excited about going yet, becauseI just don't know what to expect. I think it is also partly because I am going to be gone while a few events that I wanted to go to are happening: my friend's birthday party, the re-due Starfield concert
, and a going away party for my former Intern Pastor and his wife. And, I am also gonna miss all my friends.
So, yeah I am gonna try to blog as much as I can over my vacation, and keep you up to date on what's going on with me. If all you readers would pray for my family and I that would be super. - Sunday: Lincoln City
- Monday: Newport, and Crescent City

For all of you who live in the Vancouver Area, wasn't the hot summer-like day on the Satureday of the weekend of April 12-13th amazing?! I loved it! It was so nice, but it caused my mom, siblings, and I to get the Spring Fever. What is the 'Spring Fever' you may be asking?Well, it is when you become really restless for summer, and you just don't want to continue with your regular routine. It was so nice though, cause on the Saturday, a group of my friends and I hung out.
It was fun, cause at first we were just planning to hang out at a park near all of our houses, but then lots of us agreed to go to our friend Emerald's house to help her dad with yard work. So we went, and we had a fun time, but soon it was almost time for dinner, and we were all wanting to have dinner together. So, my friend Jessica phoned her mom, who was just around the block, and her mom kindly offered to make dinner. So myt friends Emerald, Jessica, Becky, Olivia, and Nigel all went to Jessica's house, and while her mom was doing other things, we washed Jessica's parent's cars. Later, a while before dinner, two of our other friends, Josh and Tyler, came and together we all helped Jess's mom to make dinner. It was so fun, and I never thought that all of us would be in a kitchen helping to prepare dinner together. It was so nice though. We all sat outside while we at dinner and we took a bunch of pictures. Here are some of the pictures that we took while we were hanging out:

From the left is Jessica, Becky, Ryan, Me, Laura, and Olivia( Laura had to go home, and Ryan had to go to work)

Here is Beck again, calling one of our friends.

From the left, there is Jessica(again!lol), Ryan(he came back during dinner and hung out with us some more), Emerald, Nigel, Tyler, Olivia, Josh, and I. This was taken while we were all finishing up dinner.

Here is some of us again.

Here is a bunch of us again. Us girls were trying on the Ryan and Tyler's glasses.

Here is another picture of us. In this one, we got Nigel to lie down on the ground, and take a picture of all of our heads. It was funny, cause at first it wasn't working out, but then Nigel realized that it wasn't working out, cause it was zoomed in. I love this picture! It is so cool!
After dinner, we all walked over to another park near Jessica's house and we hung out there for a bit. Then, near 9 o'clock, when my dad was going to pick me up, we all walked back to Jessica's house and hung around in her driveway, and chatted for a while. Then, my dad came to get me, and I went home.
The next day, Sunday, was just as fun! We all went to church, and it was cool cause the day before brought us all so much closer together. We all went to Sunday School together, and then we all sat together in church. Josh, Emerald, Nigel, and I all had a Team Building Session that we had to go to, cause we are all going on a missions trip, and so after church we went to the soup lunch that the church was serving. Then together we went to the Team Building Session.
That was one of the most amazing and fun weekends that I have had in a long time. It was really cool too, cause God brought all of us so much closer and he strengthened my trust in my friends too. I love them all so much, and I think it is so cool that God put them in my life. I couldn't ask for better friends!
Well I should go, I have talked enough!
All of you have an amazing week, and God bless you all!
Take care ya'll!
Sarah
