The girls received some art books from their grandparents for Christmas. They have been having so much fun with the pastels!

Even though our official focus this term is Rembrandt, the girls seem more interested in pastels and remember their past artists better.  Six-year-old Anna instantly recognized paintings by Degas and da Vinci that were showcased in the instruction book that came with the Pastels set.

The girls have each created several works of art, but they wanted to display some of their favorites for the camera:

Who said studying artists wasn't fun?
