He is The Great I AM
What do we think of when we hear the name Jesus, Lord, King of Kings, Lords of Lords, Yahweh (The Name of God), etc? If you remember in the Narnia books and movies the line "He's not a tame Lion, but He is good." Yes He is merciful, loving, kind, etc but He is also wrathful, holy, just, etc. He corrects us and chastens us back to Him in the way He sees fit. If we don't listen to His calling, chastening, and correcting us, then He will use harsher measures to get our attention. When we fear, what do we fear? Men and situation/trials, etc. We are called not to!!!
Jeremiah 17:5-- 5 This is what the LORD says:
"Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
who depends on flesh for his strength
and whose heart turns away from the LORD.
Isaiah 41:13-- 13 For I am the LORD, your God,
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you.
Hebrews 13:6--
6So we say with confidence,
"The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?"[a]
Things are going fine over here for the most part. I know He is there with me.

Freedom
What is the definition of freedom? 1: the quality or state of being free: as a: the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action--b: liberation from slavery or restraint or from the power of another--merriam-webster. We are so blessed to live in a country were we can be free to worship the Lord in the way we see fit, and other freedoms as well. As we celebrate the 4th of Juky, let us not forget the price our forefathers payed. As the saying goes "Freedom isn't free".
