this surgerey has felt somewhat like giving birth.. i had a ******l hystercetcomy on wednesday april 11th. all went well, the doctor thinks he has gotten all the cancer cells just by removing the uterus but he is doing testing on some sample tissues he took as well.  i want to thank all for their prayers they have certainly helped!! recovery has went much better than expected. i am sore and having a hard time sitting upright for long periods but it does get better each day.  we are starting back with school today as i am sooo bored being cooped up in the house!!    i also hope to get otuside and move around some today as well..  again thanks for your prayers!! nicole

Glad the surgery went well, Nicole! I'll be praying that all the cancer was removed and you have a speedy recovery.

Now don't get yourself into trouble just because you're bored. I know that my boys get into the most trouble with their "good ideas" when they've had plenty of free time to cook up said ideas.

I always enjoy getting into the swing of lessons when we've had an extended break (be it for good or not so good reasons). The kids really seem to enjoy their afternoon time a lot more when they've been busy all morning!

Just don't overdo it, okay?
