How would your life change if you had no telephone access?  How would you communicate with friends?  Would this method be better than using the telephone in any way?

Well where do I begin? My freinds wouldn't be able to call me and we wouldn't be able to talk to my dad when he calls in the mornings. We wouldn't be able to schedule doctor appts, play dates, and mom wouldn't be able to call our friends for them to come over. We wouldn't be able to get Angel Food (which is a food ministry) at low low prices.

Instead of calling my friends, I could send them letters. Although it would take longer than a phone call, it would save electricity. I think letters are a much better way to communicate because you can pour out what you want to say. Letters are better because you're just able to have more emotion in a letter. Letters just make you feel better about being able to talk to your friends.

Would you like to be the first to do something? How do you think being first would feel? What specific thing would you like to be the first to do?

I would want to be the first 12 year old to shoot a 600. A 600 is the best score you could get in archery and I would be very impressed with myself.

I am now going to talk about somthing completly irrelvant to todays question.  yester day we got a new game for our wii mario and sonic at the olimpyc gamestm and it is such afun game you can run races you can shoot archery you can fence you can play table tennis you run a dream race witch is a race with power ups and stuff you can swim you can do the high jump you can do the long jump you canshoot skeet you can javalin thow you can shot put too its the best game ever.

Do you get eight hours of sleep every night?  if not, what are your sleeping habits and why?

 I definitely get 8 hours of sleep.  Most of the time I get 10-12 hours of sleep.  My sleeping habits include closing my eyes, lying down, being under blankets and dreaming.  There are a few things that help me fall asleep.  We have an air purifier that has a humming lulling sound.  I also sleep with a teddy bear that I've hand since I was 1 day old.  Most of the time I lie in bed thinking about things that I've done and things that I could have done and sometimes things that I could do.  I don't usually go to sleep when my mom and dad put me to bed.  Most of the time I read.  My favorite books include:  Calvin and Hobbes, Captain Underpants, Bucky Katt and the Far Side.  Right now I am working on reading the Wizard of Oz.  I am reading it to my brother when my parents think we're sleeping.

OK, Tuesday night I got new arrows for my bow.  We went to our archery club 2 hours early so I could get them sighted-in.  As it turns out, they were pretty well sighted-in already, so it didn't take me as long as I thought.  So I had about an hour to kill.  I walked out into the other room and saw that there was cardboard stacked up into a little pile.  I thought about it for a minute or two and I thought, "I'll build something with this!"  I didn't expect it to get that high.  I'm 5' 3" and it's taller than me.  My dad is 6' 3" and it's taller than him!

That's what I did with my spare hour.  I hope to go again tonight so that I can build some more (oh and shoot my bow too.)

Both Mark Twain and Sholom Aleichem often wrote about people and places they were very familiar with.  If you were to write a short story, what characters (people you know) might you include?  Write a short description of each character.

 Im grumpy today so ill keep this short , AHEM , one of the people is a kid who gets on the main characters nerves alot there also an old widow who hates everbody and of course there the old black smith who is the main characters best friend. See I told you id keep it short.

One of the goals of the National PTA is to encourage parents to get involved in their children's schools.  Think of some new ways your parents or caregivers could be a part of your education.  Write about your ideas.

 Well my parents kinda already are a part of our education I mean we're  homeschoolers for crying out loud. My dad is the principle and my mom is the math, writing and just about everything teacher except latin (sorry katie) . So in conclusion my parents are very interactive with my education.

Today was one VERY windy day so being homeschoolers we just had to take advatage of it with experaments and charts and paper and just what ever we could find on short notice. Naturally we had a great time.

Personoly I would want it in art. I think im a good artist but I could always be better ya'know. Thats what I would want .

Write about what you consider to be an ideal day, as far as the weather is concerned.  If you had your choice, where would you go and what would you do to enjoy this perfect day?

 The perfect day huh?   Well, in my personal opinion a warm summer day about 75 degrees and a friend to spend it with would be great.  We would go into the woods,  go wading in the creek, climb trees, and  just sit in the shade.  Yes, a Summer day would be the perfect weather.

Imagine that your family is hosting an exchange student from Japan.  Explain a custom that you think the student should know about.  It can be a national custom or a local one.

The custom I think is most important to know is probably ground hog day.  every February the 2nd punxatauny Phil comes out of his hole and if he sees his shadow we have 6 more weeks of winter. Unfourtunetly for us it was sunny February 2nd so more winter boo hoo.

Baseball has become a sport enjoyed all over the world.  Which team do you support?  List some of the players and give some other information about the team.  If you don't follow baseball, write about another team sport you like.

 Well I don't follow baseball but I do really like football. But this year I'm not going to watch the biggest game of the year. (The super bowl) because its the Steelers  and the Cardnals . The team I like is the Eagles  but alas and alack they didnt make it .

 Wrestling. It is  soo cool. Ok imagine this a guy in a mask hitting another guy with a weapon. It for some reason just gives me joy and Iove it.

Which do you think would be better?  To stay in an over-crowded prison close to home, or to travel a long distance to an unknown land where you wouldn't be in a crowded prison, but instead in a penal colony or settlement?  Tell why you'd make that choice.

I think that I would go to the other prison becouse of the fact that if I did go to the prison I have would more freedom than if I was in an old stinky jail cell. Thus my decieion is to leave for a new land.

Shannon Lucid took a long trip very far away from her home.  What's the longest trip you've ever taken?  Why did you go?  How long were you gone?  Write about where you went and how you felt when you came home again.  If you haven't gone on a long trip, write about where you'd like to go and what you'd do there.

The longest trip ive ever taken was to northern Minnisota. My dad used to live there so it was like comming home for him. when we got home I really missed Minnisota all my family up there. I hope that all of you had a wonderfull new year and may a trip that you take be YOUR favorite.
