Blogging Philisophy

Well, imagine that -- two posts in one month! I'm on a roll.
I think I've finally solved the mystery of why I don't blog very often. It's found in Pride and Prejudice --   Elizabeth Bennett accuses Mr. Darcy of not speaking unless he expects to "say something that will amaze the whole room, and be handed down to posterity with all the eclat of a proverb." Guilty as charged.
So, recognizing that excuse for what it is, I've decided to make an effort to blog once a week, even if all I post is an encouraging verse. Because, in addition to blogging consistently, I don't want to blog about just anything. We're too busy for that. Good blogs must leave a little tidbit with you...a little something useful or encouraging or challenging.
And, my "little something" for today....

     Philippians 4:8
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
Or maybe, blog about these things? :)

It's funny; I've thought that same accusation from Pride and Prejudice to myself before. Sometimes I'll sit down and just tell myself, "OK, it's been way to long, I need to blog on something." :)

You know, when I was looking at the lovely picture on your previous post, I was wondering if maybe when you post the Bible verses, you could also post some pictures like that one--that is if you have some more awesome nature pictures hiding away in your camera! Maybe you could do some kind of picture that fits with the verse or something. Anyway, looking forward to your weekly blogging!

About Me

Welcome to my little perch! I'm Kori, an 18 year old homeschool graduate who is the oldest of five kids. I'm an MMK (minister of music's kid), and I'm very thankful for the family the Lord chose for me! A few of my favorite things are reading, writing , playing piano, and working with kids. Luke 12:6-7 (KJV)

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?

But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
