What we are working on:

Alli: 

works daily in her Horizons Kindergarten Math book....I love Horizon's Math....very impressed w/ it.....She also has a couple Kindergarten books that I picked up from Walmart that she works in sometimes.

practices reading her sight word flashcards to me each day......

and then writes some of the words for Handwriting and Spelling....

She has also just started reading the Dick and Jane books to me also...We have both the hardcover ones and the smaller paperback ones ..and so far, she is doing great!!!  I can't believe she is reading already......

Rosie has been busy learning her multiplication tables......we are using homemade flashcards that Nikki made up for us...and working in her Horizons Math book.....She has just started a history notebook....we are using Story of the World Vol. 1........I've had it for a long while now, but I have held off starting it until I was able to order the things that I wanted to go w/ it......I think we are really going to enjoy it......we have our history figures.....our timeline.....the activity book to go along w/ SOTW.....and I have borrowed The Usborne Book of World History and The Kingfisher History Encyclopedia from the library to use until I can purchase them.....

The 3 little girls and I have also been busy w/ a few projects around here....Rosie is doing a science project that I found on Kidzone..I will try to post a few pics later.....All 3 of the girls have planted some other seeds in styrofoam cups as well.....Rosie planted corn, bean and radishes....so that she could compare them......Alli and Abby planted some herbs......dill, parsley, chives and catnip......

The older kids have been busy as well.....

Natalie and Nikki have just recently finished their books and are done except for one last report that all 4 of the older ones are working on for me.....they are doing a report on Marian Wright Edelman.....

Aaron just got started on a couple new books.......Jensen's Punctuation.  He has also started Universe by Design for science.....I will try to post a complete list of Aaron's books another time.....
