Nov. 20, 2008 - need recipes

My wonderful Mom and I have been planning this year's Thanksgiving feast and we feel like we are stuck in a rut.  She makes chicken and dressing, garden peas and beans and pecan pies.  I am planning on doing hash brown casserole, corn casserole, 7 layer salad, and Anna's caramel cake. My sister is down for a congealed salad, sweet potato casserole, honey baked turkey breast and ham.

This is basically the same foods we have every year.  Do any of you have a new recipe that is extra yummy for us to try this year??

Thanks!

What is a 7 layer salad?
Have you ever tried green bean casserole? The recipe is on the back of the French's dried onions can. It is a staple at our T- meal. Do you not do mashed potatoes & turkey gravy? I make goat cheese cheesecakes & this year I'm making a millionaire pie. The millionaire pie is sweetened condensed milk, a tablespoon of lemon juice, (or so) whip cream with drained crushed pineapple, cherries and pecan halves on top. YUM! If you are a fruity type personality, you'd like this one. Pastor John will love it. I think I'll take it to our T-meal at church for him to 'judge.' ;-)
