When you were a kid, what did you want to do when you grew up?
I wanted to be a teacher & a famous pop singer who also plays electric guitar
What do you want to do when your kids grow up?
Good question? That's way too far ahead in the future for me but if I have to think about it I guess I would say that besides babsitting LOTS of grandbabies, I hope to be doing whatever it is that GOD wills for me to do at that moment in my life....
Who did you look up to when you were a child/teen?
My older sister DEFINITELY! She is 11 years older than me and she was a very strong christian and had ALOT of influence on my life when I was a teen but also MY MOTHER because although she was in & out of church and not living the way she should have been, she's alway's been an inspiration because she is a very optimistic, happy, generous, moral, beautiful etc. woman to whom I also looked up to and we were very close when I was a teen and still are...PRAISE GOD!
How about now?
GOD, my husband for waking up every morning and working so hard for our family, My parents for being the beautiful people that they are and for sticking it out together for 44 years now!!! WOW!

my husbands shrimp dinner (we haven't come up w/a name for it yet but he invented it and it's totally awesome!!!involving zucchini, shrimp, onion, black olives sauteed in olive oil over fettucine noodles & seasoned w/who knows what all, my husband has his secrets, lol)
Eggplant Parmigian (Olive Garden style, yum yum!! I'm getting hungry!!)

3 interesting things about you then.
1. When I was 17 I was shot in the leg by a 9mm oozie just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, ouch! Went straight through my calf though and shattered the smallest bone, PRAISE GOD it could have been MUCH worse!
2. I failed biology because I refused to cut open a dead cat!!GROSS!!!
3. I was a cheerleader & I loved cheering, I had never cheered a day in my life and I made the squad my sophomore year (just barely) after practicing my behind off for 2 weeks and then after cheering in 10th & 11th, I made the squad my senior year and then decided to quit early on in order to focus on graduating (too sad but I had to ensure that I would never have to come back to that school EVER AGAIN & have to look at my HATEFUL dean of girls, EEEK!!!!)
3 interesting things about you now.
1. I married my high school sweetheart who had a crush on me ever since 7th grade and when we first started dating he could even tell me the outfit I wore, down to the earrings back in 7th grade, WOW!...of course ask him now & he can't remember???go figure
2. I quit smoking almost 9 years ago!!! YAY!
3. People often mistake me for my daughter's sister (which she HATES & I APPRECIATE!!!! LOL)

1. Become a famous pop singer- NO THANK GOD!!! I didn't do it!!
2. I thought I would move out immediately after high school & share an appartment w/my best friend at the time- NO I didn't do that either, THANK THE LORD once more because you don't even want to know what happened to that best friend....whooo....
3. I thought I would marry a fine man & live in the mountains where it would snow during the winter in a log cabin home- I definitely married a fine man but we live far from any mountains and we never see snow nor do I live in a log cabin home but atleast I do have a porch, haha

1. I NEVER thought I would homeschool my children but I'm soooo happy that I do!!! THANK YOU LORD!!!!
2. I NEVER thought that I would ever live in a subdivison but I do...
