God has been working on my heart

Today has just been one of those days. One of those days where God has shown me so much. Last night as I prayed with Alyssa she prayed that God would fill her heart with love. I was so amazed that she is so sensitive to the things that God tells her. I wondered if that is ever my prayer. It should be. From now on it will be. I get so busy in day to day life that sometimes I forget to pray that God would fill my heart with love. I forget to show love to those around me. That has been my first lesson.

My second lesson sarted last night. My dd who is 4 had a horrible nightmare. This has been going on for about a week now. I was very frustrated and sad after this episode.  I went to bed feeling alittle frustrated with God. Frustrated that he would allow my sweet little girl to go through this. This morning I got a lot of encouragement from the wonderful ladies on the FIAR board. I have prayed about it a lot and I need to be more sensitive to God. For the last few weeks I have felt that God is telling me I need to only allow certain music to be listened to, only certain shows should be watched, things like that. I also was reminded that only God can keep my husband and children safe. I need to rely ONLY on Him.

Exciting Day

Today Taylor starts HIPPO therapy. Also known as equestian therapy. She is very excited! Mommy is alittle nervous but I am also excited for her. We went awhile ago to look around and meet the horses. It is my life long dream to own a horse. Heres the catch! I have never even riden a horse. So now you see why I am alittle nervous.

Taylor woke up at 5am this morning. I went into her room and she says "When is the sun going to be up." I think it felt like Christmas morning to her!

Well I am running late on starting school. Hopefully I will get to post some pictures of Taylor. Have a blessed day!:)

Our day today

We had planned on doing a regular schedule today. It didnt work out like that though. We ended up having a family day! Last night was kind of a rough one for my dd so we decided to just have some time together today. We went to the park and they practiced riding their bikes and we play on the play ground. It was nice and refreshing to just hang out.

Hi:)

Hi, I just wanted to start with an introduction. My name is Miranda and I am 26. I have been married to my best frind for 8 years! God has blessed us with four wonderful children. Taylor is 8. She is our special needs child. She was born with cerebral palsy. She has a wheelchair that she uses to get around. Although we dont let her drive in busy places! She loves people and making friends. Alyssa is 6 and she loves animals. Any animals! Right now she is hooked on horses and dogs. Morgan is 4 and she is our independent one. She acts like she doesnt need anyone or anything. We are working on that one! Carter is our only boy and he is also 4. Yeap twins! You should have seen the reaction from dh. Carter loves anything outside. Cars, trucks, bugs, animals, you get the picture. Your typical boy!

This is our third year homeschooling and I couldnt imagine it any other way!  I feel so blessed to be able to stay at home and watch my children learn and grow.

Well that is my intro! I look forward to getting to know everyone
