Unfortunately, I haven't had much of a voice today. But I persevered! Storytime wasn't very clear, but I didn't want to skip a reading! We are currently reading The Witch of Blackbird Pond. Chairman, who is 8, appears to enjoy the story, but I think I am following it a little better. Picasso (aged 6) doesn't tend to join us for storytime, unless I ask him to. He just doesn't enjoy being read too all that much. He is more than happy, however, to sit on the floor and play with his legos if I ask him to. Houdini (aged 3).....well, he is 3.....and Cutiepie is 18mos....he plays with Houdini!
Picasso lost his third tooth, with the help of Houdini, who kindly kicked him in the face! All is well though! I had been a little worried that we might have to have the tooth pulled out by the dentist. It has been wiggly for months! Unfortunately, the Toothfairy forgot to stop by last night! ~sigh~ This isn't the first time that the Toothfairy forgot! Luckily, Picasso was satisfied with the promise that we would put a sign out tonight telling the Toothfairy to stop tonight. He knows that the Toothfairy isn't real, but part of them wants to believe!
Today will be full of ice skating and toy stores! Picasso just recently had a birthday, and found himself blessed with a lot of cold hard cash! Chairman keeps instructing Picasso on all the toys that he (Picasso) will buy him (Chairman)! Picasso has a big heart, but I am curious to see how this all works out! Houdini has skating lessons this afternoon, so I invited Picasso to tag along so that he could spend some of his money. I informed Chairman that he would be staying behind at Grandma's house with Cutiepie as Houdini really didn't need that big of an audience to skate for! He is full of mischevous antics without the encouragement of his brothers!
I may stop off at the Library to see if they have any Ruth Beechick books though. It is rainy and gray out, the perfect day to read a book!
Have a Great Day!
