Each of us know the unique desires and joys of our husbands, no one can be a better wife or helpmate to them for we were created by the hand of God to meet their needs and help them complete the tasks the Father has laid out for them! It brings me so much comfort to know that God Himself knit me perfectly for my dear Joe. As long as I have a heart of prayer and a desire to bless my husband, I will not fail.
Have you considered how you will be blessing your husband this weekend? I have included a link I found on putting Christ back into the romance of your marriage but I haven't the time to really go through it. I am off to the cabin for the weekend as I celebrate my father, brother and husband. It is a tradition we do each year that the family anticipates all year long. Such sweet times have been had up on those mountains- we are so blessed to have Mighty men of God ruling our homes! Okay.. so here is the link for your own review in case you need to jumpstart some ideas:

As for me, I started my Fathers day celebration earlier this week and have done the following:
I have kissed my husband every day, amazing how that simple act can soften his heart and mine. So often we get busy with life and forget to just kiss one another.
I have made him his favorite meals each night and had them ready when he arrived home from work.
I have asked what he needed accomplished while he was away and then deligently worked to have those items completed.
I have written him notes of my love and appreciation for him.
I have called him on his cell just to say that I appreciated all the work he did for our family and looked forward to spending the rest of my life with him.
I have purchased a cake for our weekend at the cabin, packed the suitcase, filled the cars with fuel, prepared the goodies that were my responsibilty to bring and printed out the map so that there was no worry or anxiousness in getting ready to go.
I will continue to share of my love for him this weekend and I will smile often!! I will continue to express my love in words but more importantly in actions! I will purpose that all my words will build him up and not tear him down! I will dream with my Joe...something he loves to do!
That's all I can think of at the moment and I must run to get these little ones ready. I will check back when we arrive home and see how your weekend of blessing your husband is going. Share here on the blog if you can, although I love the emails too!
With much love,
Mrs. Joseph Wood (Jeanette)
