The children and I enjoyed a drive up to the property to get some more goats milk from the family that is keeping our goats till we are ready. The views on the drive are simply breath taking!
Joe, the children and I did some grocery shopping as well as purchased shoes for those that needed it. I think we purchased shoes for 6 children, three already had shoes that fit and one wasn't with us. The total for their shoes, which included buying on clearance at Payless Shoe Source, was 115.42! Shoes is something that I always have to keep in the budget, reading and waiting for that day when one of the children announce, "Hey Mom! I can't get my foot inside my shoe!" Or.. "Uh, mom?! My toe can fit through the hole in the bottom of my shoe!" How does this happen all of a sudden? It is as if I have "shoe varmints" that invade the children's closets while they sleep and destroy their shoes when we least expect it!
Clothes shopping is coming soon as well! Now, that one I am really dreading! Two of the boys have announced that their pants have "shrunk" actually, they have streached out! The girls brought it to my attention that they are needing clothes as well. My Heart is filled with Thanksgiving because of His faithfulness! Faithful is the Lord! He always provides the funds for our needs- He alone is worthy of all praise!
Well, we are getting close to closing escrow.. don't know exactly how close but I trust we will be signing papers in HIS perfect timing! Let's see, anything else to share? Hmm... I guess not. I best call it a night and go enjoy my babies and husband before the day comes to an end. If the Lord brings me to mind, please lift our family in prayer as I will be in the hospital most of next week- surgery is on Monday morning. I pray that each of you have had a fruitful week and that His blessing are poured out abundantly upon your households!
Because of His love,
Mrs. Joseph Wood
