Recently I have been looking up information about film pre-production and FX. One helpful website I came across is Indymogul.com. Jam packed with videos and blogs about cheap effects. (Disclaimer) some episodes include contents which may be offensive to viewers.(intense language, gory effects, and some innuendo.) I wouldn't recommend it to anyone under 13. If you are mature enough, and into indie film-making, I would definitely recommend it!indymogul

My family and I are going to be missionaries in Papua New Guinea for 2 years! We are selling our house and pretty much everything else we own! I will not be homeschooled anymore and will start a new blog, probably on another site. My mom will teach at a school there, and my dad will do maintenence at the base we will live at. Neither of them will make any money, so we need to get support to live there. P.N.G. is in between Australia and New Zealand in the Pacific Ocean.

to start a six word memoir meme here are the rules:
1. Write your own six word memoir
2. Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you’d like
3. Link to the person that tagged you in your post and to this original post if possible so we can track it as it travels across the blogosphere
4 .Tag five more blogs with links
5. And don’t forget to leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play!
so here is mine :
film free or die hard trying!

Yesterday a homeschooling friend of mine called me up and asked if I wanted to go to an art class with him. Unsuspecting the torture I would be experiencing in a couple of hours, I said sure. That was the fatal mistake that found me in a small classroom at a gallery in Sarnia two hours later, listening to this:
(Teacher draws line on paper.) "What is this, kids?" (kid answers.) "A line?" (Teacher.) "That's correct!" "we can draw different kinds of lines, straight ones, squiggly ones, zig-zagging ones, all kinds of lines!" "What do we sometimes like to add to our drawings?" (kids are silent.) "Colors! all sorts of different colors."
Ya... I'm not joking.
We ended up dawing a tiger step by step.
My friend and I drew a better tiger than the teacher. I am glad that's over!

In less than three hours, (it's 3:02 right now) I will be walking through the doors of the V.P.P. once again. I can't wait to see who I know got a part; also, who I don't know so I can make new friends. Tonight I will see the script for the first time since I read some snippets for the audition.
Soon I will blog about the script.

Last night was our first show for Rumpelstiltskin! I did not feel nervous at all. When I was in the Pheonix Egg I always had a queasy feeling in my stomach before I went on stage. I remembered all of my lines, and didn't miss a single que! (your que is when you go onstage.) The audience was great, and it made me feel like a million bucks to be onstage with a bunch of great actors! Only 4 more shows left before it's all over. sigh............

I took the official IQ test at www.IQtest.com and scored 120!(only 40 points less than Eistein) usually classified as university student level. I'm glad my mom homeschooling me has paid off!![]()

Last night was my last year trick or treating. I dressed up as Frankenstein's monster. Contrary to popular belief, Frankenstein is the name of the mad scientist who creates the monster, not the name of the monster. I made my own facepaint out of coldcream, cornstarch, water, and food colouring. I also made fake blood out of corn syrup and food colouring. It was pretty cool, except that it crumbles off after a while. I would have posted some pics; but my dad forgot to get out his camera.
