I listened to The Yearling on tape today. It sounds so adventurous. I love the part when the father and son go hunting, and the part where the son catches a two-foot bass. I wish I had a baby fawn just like the boy in The Yearling. I am at the part of the tape where the father and the son kill the big bear slew foot. He was the biggest bear in the forest and the smartest. He got his toe caught in a trap and got away only he left his toe behind him! Thats how all the other hunters could tell that it was slew foot instead of the other bears because his back hind foot was missing a toe. Im still waiting for the end. So until then, goodbye! |
