Feb. 15, 2006 - More curriculum for next year
Two of the three things I wasn't sure of have fallen into place for next year.
Science: I ordered Apologia's Flying Creatures of the Fifth Day from CBD.
Social Studies: I ordered a Map Skills book, and Symbols of the USA from CBD.
I still don't know what I want for art. I am artistically challenged, so something simple he can do and clean up on his own would be best. I could throw him some new playdo every now and then. If anyone reading this has any better ideas, leave me a comment please!

hey....I randomly read your blog and thought I'd post a comment. My 4 1/2 yo daughter loves, I mean loves art! I usually give her scissors, paper, stickers and some pens and let her make her own createables ~ that's what she calls them! I save most of them for cards to send to family members. Also, we save the cardboard from sticker packs, the skinny ones, and cut the tops off and use them bookmarks. She decorates them and again we send them to family members! She also really love sidewalk chalk. I've yet to try the sidewalk paint. Maybe I'm silly, but anything she does we call art!
