TITLE: No title today!
Hi!
I haven't posted in ages..........!!! :-)
It is VERY hot where we live - and it has been for the last few weeks, though yesterday there was a lovely cool day.
On the weekend, mum is holding an exhibition (she is an artist) with a few of her artist friends. It is very busy at the moment because mum is trying to get some more art done and we are trying to tidyup the studio, because that is where we will be having most of the work! Here is the link to mum's website: www.berniemeyers.com
All the guinea-pigs are well. Tinkerbelle still has her ridiculous hairdoo. She had really long hair, but now as it is getting hot, she has moulted - but she has only moulted up to her belly!!! So she has really long hair all over her bottom! It looks really funny!

Hi!
I changed my template, yet again! (But hopefully you already noticed that!)
We are finally back from all the Diana Waring Conferences that we have been to.....now it is resting time!
I can't believe that tomorrow we will be in the month of November! This year has gone VERY fast!
All of our horses have lost their winter coats, so they are all nice and shiny and sleek rather than all this fluff coming out because they were moulting.
Two of my guinea-pigs who have really LONG hair are now moulting. Caramel has nearly finished moulting, so she has pretty short fur and only a few long strands on her bottom, but Tinkerbelle has short fur until her belly now, but she still has a lot of long hair on her bottom - it looks really cute!
I have decided that I might change my 'display' name from Bonnetgirl to Prairegirl! I am just going to see how I like it!

Homeschool Confernces!!
Hello!!
We have just come back from some homeschoolconferences with Diana Waring in Inverell, Sydney and Maitland (to be followed in Brisbane and Canberra and also in Melbourne and Adelaide but we arn't going to those ones. They have been really good,
but with lots of driving!

We also had a big dust storm last week from the farming land out west that is really dry from lack of rain. We were driving back from Inverell and we had to go over the Great Dividing Range and there was a lookout that had a really pretty view that we missed on the way up, so, on the way back, even though there was heaps of dust, we stopped. A sign read 'Hey! What a Great View' and underneath that: 'Let's keep it that way!' but thing was when you looked out, you could see the fence right infront of you and the couple of trees right infront of you then plain orange - orange - orange. And that was the view!

Title: Hmm..... no idea - actually, I don't want I title!
Hi!
Last Sunday (which was our Father's Day) we went to Chitchester (I think that is how you spell it) Dam. It was lovely. You drive through the mountains and then you go down past the dam water and into a little picnic area. You can go down the bank which is full of rocks and tree roots and - - - - - this cute little guy:

A bush turkey!
Here are some kookaburras (I think I might have spelt it wrong) that we saw:

And this is a photo of me and dad down the bank:

Well, after we had walked down the bank and back, we drove over to the dam and walked the dam wall. It was ENORMOUS!! Much bigger than what I thought it would be, but - I don't think we got any photos of the dam!
Here are some kangaroo's we saw have a fight:

'Meet me in the pony paddock for a punch up at 8:00(am or was it 7:00am?)?' 'Alright - I'll be there!'
Funny?

Guinea-pig news + new template!
Hi!
As you can see (hopefully) I have changed my template yet again but it is still the same blog: The Bonnet Club.
Well here is my news: Last weekend, Zoe, one of our miniature ponies, escaped into next door's paddock! We were looking all around for her and calling her and we couldn't see her anywhere then finally I looked across and there was ZoZo in next door's paddock pretending she wasn't there! She looked like she was thinking "O oh, I've been sprung! They have found me! I guess I better pretend to be a statue!!" it looked rather comical but it wasn't because we didn't know how she got out and whether or not she could get in! After a few minutes of us watching her and Zoe watching us watching her, she started running and managed to walk RIGHT THROUGH THE FENCE!!! We had to block it up because the fence ran over a ditch which Zoe managed to walk under! Right now the ponies are all in our 'house paddock' munching clover and grass and extremely happy!

Here is a photo of Zoe - the escape artist

Jack, waiting for his dinner!

And this cute little button, Coconut, is in the bottom half of the cupboard in my desk, which is her special place where she sleeps when I am doing my school work. Isn't she just adorable?!!!!!
Last week, we had lots of visitors! First, we had some friends up from Nowra who stayed a night and then my Nanna and Auntie Pam came up and they too stayed a night. On Saturday, (my Nanna and Auntie Pam were still here), another Auntie Therese plus my cousin Josh and his absolutely adorable baby sister, Lauren came up with my Poppy!
Guinea-pig news is that Weeker (who we afore thought was a girl) is definitely a boy and Caramel and Tinkerbelle definitely girls! I am very happy I only have to sell one of them, but I hate the thought of having to sell Weeker.
Well, I better go and have lunch now, we are having bread that I just made and left over sausages and chicken from yesterday's lunch.
Lots of love from Bonnetgirl xoxoxox
