TITLE: No title today!
Hi!
I haven't posted in ages..........!!! :-)
It is VERY hot where we live - and it has been for the last few weeks, though yesterday there was a lovely cool day.
On the weekend, mum is holding an exhibition (she is an artist) with a few of her artist friends. It is very busy at the moment because mum is trying to get some more art done and we are trying to tidyup the studio, because that is where we will be having most of the work! Here is the link to mum's website: www.berniemeyers.com
All the guinea-pigs are well. Tinkerbelle still has her ridiculous hairdoo. She had really long hair, but now as it is getting hot, she has moulted - but she has only moulted up to her belly!!! So she has really long hair all over her bottom! It looks really funny!

Hi!
I changed my template, yet again! (But hopefully you already noticed that!)
We are finally back from all the Diana Waring Conferences that we have been to.....now it is resting time!
I can't believe that tomorrow we will be in the month of November! This year has gone VERY fast!
All of our horses have lost their winter coats, so they are all nice and shiny and sleek rather than all this fluff coming out because they were moulting.
Two of my guinea-pigs who have really LONG hair are now moulting. Caramel has nearly finished moulting, so she has pretty short fur and only a few long strands on her bottom, but Tinkerbelle has short fur until her belly now, but she still has a lot of long hair on her bottom - it looks really cute!
I have decided that I might change my 'display' name from Bonnetgirl to Prairegirl! I am just going to see how I like it!
Love in Christ from

Homeschool Confernces!!
Hello!!
We have just come back from some homeschoolconferences with Diana Waring in Inverell, Sydney and Maitland (to be followed in Brisbane and Canberra and also in Melbourne and Adelaide but we arn't going to those ones. They have been really good,
but with lots of driving!
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
We also had a big dust storm last week from the farming land out west that is really dry from lack of rain. We were driving back from Inverell and we had to go over the Great Dividing Range and there was a lookout that had a really pretty view that we missed on the way up, so, on the way back, even though there was heaps of dust, we stopped. A sign read 'Hey! What a Great View' and underneath that: 'Let's keep it that way!' but thing was when you looked out, you could see the fence right infront of you and the couple of trees right infront of you then plain orange - orange - orange. And that was the view!
Love from

TITLE: hmmm, Easter Sewing? (P.S. Happy Easter!)

Here are some very cute photo's of my dog Coconut in her new iglo bed I made her. I hope everyone had a lovely Easter! Over the Easter holidays, I have been doing lots of sewing. We went to Spotlight and we brought some brown Autumn corduroy, some purpley/pinky corduroy and some pink rib fabric with matching trims. Out of the brown fabric, I made a princess seam skirt with a cream satin ribbon trim, a brimmed beret and a headband. Out of the purple fabric I made a jacket with brown lining, cream velvet ribbon tie and fluffy purple trim and a bag, lined with the brown lining, a pocket of the brown fabric and handles of the satin ribbon. Out of the pink fabric, I made a top with a collar made out of the brown fabric. I also finished off Coconut's bed, I started it a while back but it needed foam to hold up the sides and we couldn't get anything big enough so we finally decided to use on of those foam excersize mats!
Lots of love from Bonnetgirl
