The Way I See It

I have a new "baby"

My dear husband delivered my new baby today.

Isn't it the cutest little baby computer you ever did see? He bought it on ebay, for me!!  I am learning to feed it and had to work out a little colic difficulty in connecting to the internet, but I think we are bonded already.  One manly son has offered to buy me an outfit for the little thing so I can carry it around with me. Where is the best place to look for a case that is feminine and not outrageous in price?

Now if my ISP will just fix our service so we have internet after dark when the children are in bed. Our internet goes off when the street lights come on. Is that weird or what? So I get snatches of blog surfing in the afternoon, but I really want to check out your sites and see what you are up to. Perhaps our ISP can extend our service's curfew now that I have a new baby computer to play with.

How exciting, and how frustrating to not have internet connection while little people are in bed! As if we have time to check email, blog, etc. any other time :-)
Love your new baby and can't wait to see "him" in person!

You need a baby sling, then no one will know it's not really a baby! It would be perfect. Funny noises coming out of it? "Oh, the baby is just 'down-loading...'" All babies do that, your's just does not need it's diaper changed afterwards.

For a more mature snow cone...how about dressing up an iced coffee in snow cone ice...mmm...I think I'll share my "Mommy-ccino" recipe, born yesterday, on the next WFMW thread!

Sorry about the 'puter challenges...hope that new one works well!

Blessings,
Anne-Marie

Your new baby is adorable - have you named it yet?! I hope your internet connection improves, that's a bummer. Thanks for your comments on my post. A favorite saying of my is this: "Better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!" Think about it! Enjoy your new baby!

Mostly, my poems document my mommy days of several years ago, a handful of toddlers, and lots of challenge in mothering them...but I STILL have a handful of toddlers (plus a handful of adolescent/pre-adolescent children), and have been reminded much of late why I wrote some of these!

Telephones and tattletales is a fave, and I AM Mommy is meant for the tune, I am woman. Mommy's pressing on goes along with the battle hymn of the republic...LOL.

I think my Mom read me LOTS of Dr. Seuss when I was little, and that's the sort of rhythm I love best...but can I figure out the meter of a poem...not on your life!

Blessings,
Anne-Marie

Sep. 4, 2007 - baby carrier

it has been my experience with any type of carrier, both for baby boys or baby dells or even baby accessories (diapers) that if you choose a carrier or bag that doesn't look too feminine that your guys will offer to carry more often! leather backpacks have doubled as diaper bags for years around here :)
