This book is really good, but some people don't like it because it is very unrealistic..  I really liked it, though.  I have also read the second and third books in the series, The People of Sparks and The Prophet of Elyon.. and those were also really good.. Uh, now I have to go because I am using the librarys' computer and I have to get off now..
