~ Why waste time with titles? ~

I took this picture last week when Elisabeth was standing on her desk. (probably not a good habit...) She was pretending to be a model. I think she just needs to improve the look. She looks to happy. :-p Oh, and she isn't standing on her toes...
My new way of eating noodles is with butter, garlic powder, parmesan cheese and a handful or two of mozzarella cheese. It's soooo good! Another good way is to just put on butter and salt. I didn't think that way would taste very good so I didn't try it for a while but once I did, I enjoyed it. I suppose that noodles aren't a very healthy/filling meal but they're good anyway.

There isn't much news around here except that I've made quite a few more dolls in the past few days (except for heads and hats... I ran out) and that we finished our last Jonathan Park episode. Yesterday we listened to four or five and did the last one today... It's a good thing we can re-listen to them! :-) Oh, and we got to watch the Felicity DVD by American Girl. We borrowed it from a friend and couldn't wait till Mom let us watch it! I loved the behind the scenes!

Later this week we're going to get to somewhere that I've wanted to go for a loooong time! But you'll have to wait till later to find out where it is. :-)

~ Hiii =) ~

Hii, every one!! So I’m pretty sure I failed when I said I was going to try to keep up my blog, but I hope to do better this time!! One of the reasons I haven’t been here is because of “Facebook” (besides being incredibly busy!!) but I quit my facebook, and soon found I miss writing on line and talking to friends, and quite frankly missed the homeschool blog and every one on here!! So I hope to get to talk to all of u again!

So I think its been over a yd since I wrote anything on here, &  a ton of stuff had happen since then but I seem to  not be able to think of anything right now…..

Lets see……

My House

Well, we had our first camp this summer! It was a all girl teenage camp. Even though we had plenty of kids running around all week. It went really well and I know for a fact that all the girls can’t wait to come back next summer!! I was able to be one of the head counselors, and I really enjoyed working w/ the girls and I learned a ton of stuff too!!

My Barn

We had another camp later in October, this time it was a family day camp. And that was sorter but it went really good. All the family’s totally enjoyed it, I don’t think there was one family there that dint tell me more than once how much they enjoyed it!!

I think one of the reasons that the parents enjoyed it so much— is with all the things family’s try to do these days, rushing hear and there doing this and that,  in the end they don’t really ever get to slow down enjoy the life Yahweh had given them and enjoy there family!! The family’s totally took it easy with there family,  got to have fellowship with other Christians, and had a lot of fun at the camp!!

And how could the kids not enjoy it with hayrides, bond fires, and horse back riding!!

I will post picks of both the camps as soon as I can, but if u would like to get to see a really good post on the All Girl camp u could go to my

~~~mom’s blog~~~ .
Thats just one of them though, I think she did nine or ten of them!! There all great, and the pics are a lot of fun to look at even if u dont have enough time to read all of them!!!
The Windmill and the Milk Shed
We have also taken several trips this last fall and I hope to write about them & put some pics!!
And then there is the Tea Party I did for my sisters 11th
Birthday, that one
will be a fun one to write about!! It was a really cute party, but I think my mom is going to beat me to that one, I’ll still write something about!! =)
  And then we had two baby horses born last spring, my mom has also done two totally awesome post on that!!, but I’ll put some picks up on my   owned blog. There’s a lot more that has happen then that, but I guess I’ll write about it as I remember. J       Ok well I’m really happy to be back on
~ Dolls ~
I got an early birthday present from my dad this week. I kept having to ask him if I could borrow batteries for my camera (mine had died) and he finally decided that he wasn't going to wait till my birthday to get me those batteries! We've used this brand before and we know they're really good. It's been great to be able to use the camera any time I want again! :-)
http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LAJWbZZ0dTk/SyLZ3bcIqZI/AAAAAAAAAN8/-q1mZ5fYqyQ/IMG_0004.JPG
Next is my newest additions in the doll family. I had orignally heard about these dolls from Breezy Tulip who mentioned Salley Mavor's book, Wee Felt Folk. I checked it out at the library a while ago and I've made quite a few dolls! I think the number is around 27 or 28... Most of those were given away though so I only have about 11. I tried beads on their dresses and I like how they turned out! (sorry for the bad lighting, and the crooked pictures...)
The one with the blue jumper and red hair has two braids, and the other one has a really long pony tail. I can take it out though and turn it into braids later. On all the dolls that I made before, I used wool, for hair, but you can't play with them much when they are like that because the wool starts to come apart... So this time I used embroidery thread. I think that they are fine like that and will probably make myself a few more. You might notice that they both have red hands and red/green socks... I had gotten tired of black shoes and skin colored hands so they're wearing socks and mittens. :-) I also made a toddler/baby doll that was only about 1" tall but I didn't get a picture of her. Mom things she looks kind of like an ice skater because I gave her a really round skirt that's kind of poofed out. It's really cute!
The project that I mentioned last time kind of died.. I got stuck so I might post pictures of what I had completed all ready and attempt the rest later...
~ Legend of the Candy Cane ~
 Have you ever wondered where the Candy Cane originated, or why it is so tide in with Christmas?  Well here's a little history lesson for those who don't know.
The Candy Cane started out as a simple stick of suger with no flavor or hook shape.  many people think it was made in Europe around the 17th century and could only be made by local candy makers because it was easily damaged.  The local candy makers would make these sticks by hand and it was very time consuming.  Many believe that in the year of 1670, in Germany that they would bend the candy to make a hook shape and then give it to children during their church services to keep them quiet.  Later in the 20th century they were said to have added the stripes and peppermint flavor.  Before that time it has been said that the color of the candy cane could have been green or pink.  But many familie's use them today to decorate their Christmas trees.  Many people believe that the stripes were also added to remind us of Christ's sadness as he hung on the cross.  But always remember that when you lick the candy cane that the stripes dissapear to remind us that Christ did not stay sad for long because he rose from the dead.
Please tell me if I'm wrong on this.
Blessings,
Tulip
~ Christmas Parade and Indoor Soccer..MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! ~
Hey Everybody,
Soooo sorry that I haven't posted in a while. I have been meaning to but it is soo busy around Christmas time so you undertand, right? I usually post for writing in school but there has been so much going on that I have had a lot to write in my journal so I have been doing that for my writing. A lot has been going on lately.
     We set up our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving! When did everybody else do theirs? Ahhh! I can't wait untill Christmas! Only two more weeks exactly!! Indoor soccer has also started! I haven't had any games yet, but I have two tomorrow at 4pm and 6pm. I had an indoor soccer practice though. I"m really excited about our games. GreenPeppermint had a game Saturday but they lost 8-5 I think. Graham also had his first indoor soccer game ever. He has never played indoor soccer but this year he wanted to play. He was realllly excited about his game! Lol! I kept running up and doing chest bumps with the other players on his team...wierd. Then after they scored their goals Graham ran up and hugged his team mate! Lol! He was funny out there. He played really good though. :) They ended up losing 7-2 though. I think Graham liked indoor though. Right now he is singing around the room about school or something. Fields is reading and GreenPeppermint is playing with Quinn. :) Dad also had an indoor soccer game Wednesday. He plays soccer on the coaches indoor soccer team in the winter. It is really fun to watch him play. He played really good. They ended up in a tie, 5-5.
   Last night we went to a Christmas parade. First we went to a friends house and waited and two other family's came and then we walked to the parade. We waited for a while and then the parade started. I only got about 8 pieces of candy because there were toons of smaller kids right by and I don't really like taking all the candy. Lol! I didn't really care though. MBF, GreenPeppermint, and my toes were sooo cold. We couldn't even feel them they were so cooold. It was the coldest my toes were ever before. They were blue when I took my shoes off. The parade was neat. I think my favorite float was probably the grinch float. :) I like the grinch.  Afterwards we walked home with our freezing cold toes. Then when we got a little bit away from our friend's house we started running because our toes couldn't stand it anymore!! We finally got inside and took our shoes off and put our poor, freezing toes by the fire. Lol! Then we ate dump cake and hot chocolate. It was really good. After a while we let because we had to drive all the way home and we live about 45 minutes away. Next year I think MBF, GreenPeppermint, and I will wear warmer shoes. ;) Well, I have to go now. Bye!
Your Friend, Felicity :)
