The Hunting Pictures I Promised
Here is the promised hunting pictures!
OK, here is the first week we went...
Me with my doe =D
Dad with his buck :)
Our camp, taken shortly after my picture that is above^
Anne writing about what happened that day
A cool picture of Dad... but isn't all pictures of Dad cool? LOL
Anne outfitted in her brand new Cabelas hunting suit (I got Anne's old hunting suit because I would have more of a chance of growing into it =P)
Eric and his doe... he is pretending to have killed it with his "sticker"
OK, now for the second week we went =)
Anne and her bambi
Our "train".... dragging Ben's doe... Ben is the one "pulling" it... where that arrow is pointing is me =P Eric was walking ahead, Ben and Dad were pulling the deer which was pulling the sled (since the deer didn't want to sit on the sled), I was behind the sled making sure the deer didn't drop the rope =P
Eric's 5 point buck!
Our "deer tree"... (left - right) Ben and his doe, Anne and her bambi, and Eric and his BUCK... The boys had soo much trouble getting Eric's deer up in the tree!
The deer legs... I think after that picture was taken, there was one more deer killed... but that was just a few hours before we left... so we never put it in the tree
Notice something strange in this picture? Anne is taller than me! Actually, she just collected snow on the bottoms of her boots =P
I love this picture!
Anne and her little buck =)
Inside the camper.... that is my head in the bottom left corner, Dad is making dinner, Ben is sitting behind him, Joe is in the really dark corner, Anne isn't in this picture, she was in the bottom right corner, and Eric is taking the picture =D
Well, that's all, folks! I don't think all the deer are shown... I don't think we took a picture of Joe's first bambi for that year... which you can be thankful for! LOL

Hunters Safety Field Course
My day, Saterday
8:30
(a little later...) We left the house to go to the field course!
8:42
I remembered I had left my tag and my other thing (just a obscure thing LOL) at home!
8:44
Back on our way...
Around 9:00
We got to FWP (Fish Wildlife Parks, I think) and went on our way to register...
About 9:30
Everybody who was in the same group as me had to go get our guns... *clears throat* I mean "firearm" LOL, my group went to each persons car and watched them take out the gun... some people had shotguns, or, most did... only two of us had a rifle, me and a different girl.
Beginning of field course
We started at a gate... (BTW, my instructor for the field courses name was Frank Ewin) Mr. Ewin posed as a farmer, Farmer Frank, who is "working on a fence", and said "Elizabeth (myself), how do you ask me permission to hunt on my land?" I said something, then he said "You say, 'Hey! I'm Elizabeth (and shake hands), do you need any help with your fence?' and I say (him still talking) 'Sure, you can help by holding up the fence for a minute..." and so on. Then he said that none of the houses exept the FWP was there, the FWP was Farmer Franks "house"...
After getting into "Farmer Franks" property, we went to a fence
, (BTW, I am not using my own hunters orange, it is Anne's, I got my hunters orange yesterday!) I am the far right one, which we had to cross over, this is me crossing over by myself... I am putting my gun under the fence, with my hat over the end.

After that, we went over to were the far right group of orange is, and crossed obsticals, then, after that, we went and walked a little farther,

See the deer? There is 3. We moved a little bit, so that if we were hunting, we could have shot it.
We moved on and had a "real hunt", the first three people went, then the next three people, then myself and another boy. There was a "cow elk" (fake) and I had my turn up to shoot, I chose not to shoot because it was on a horizon and you couldn't see what you would have shot, other then the cow elk. The other kid chose not to shoot, too.
After that, we walked to the next place. Where there was a bear! (not a real one) And so we talked about bears and what to do if you are attacked.
We walked a little more (in fact, we walked the whole time! LOL) to the next place, were a turkey was! All of us exept one thought it was a good shot, so we talked about turkeys, I had a .270 with me, and he was commenting that it wasn't a good gun for turkey hunting, because there wouldn't be any meat left...

After that, a girl and a boy went "duck hunting" just for a example. Here we are all lined up on the trail, when they were about to go. (the ones without there guns are the ones that was "duck hunting")

After that, we went to were the FWP people park, and a game warden talked to us, and asked to see our "tags"

After that, we were showed were to tag the big game animal, then we went and sat down, it was about 12:00 by then, after that, we went and shot bb guns and then put our guns away and got our hunters ed. certificates.
And after that, we went to Walmart, Albertsons, and Big Bear, and got home about 3:00!

We were gone
We were gone, some of you, like, Anne, Joe, Eric, Emily, Katie, Mom, and Grandma already knew that... so, none of them needs to read this... =P
I shall do it "Joe" stile, lotsa pictures! =P
About a hour after we arrived from our 14-15 hour trip, we celebrated Rase's party, because he had turned 5.

Almost everybody was from Mom's side of the family, exept for G&P (Grandmoo and Papa) and ourselves.

Rase w/cakes and presents

Rase eating cake.
On Monday, we started cleaning up around everywhere...

Jay pulling Abby around in a wagon we found

Cleaning.... we got the whole shop (it is pretty big) cleaned in 2 days!

Tess asking Papa what to do with something...

On the way to the burn pile! Eric pulling Em, Kate, Tess, Rase, Jay, Abby, and Anne

Mom, learning to drive the "tractor" (it is a riding lawnmower with a trailor)

Anne and garbage... going to the burn pile, note: the junk in the far right is part of what we took home.

Dad
The next day, Tuesday, we finished cleaning, no pictures of then...
On Wensday, we visited Uncle Steve and Aunt Barbara, Thursday, we drove around and visited Aunt Faith, Uncle Scot and Aunt Becky... I am not going to post any pictures of them, sorry!

Driving around, note: the grey sky, and green growth LOL

driving over a river, I am unsure which one it is, though

Christmas trees...

a piece of the typical Oregon sky.. grey
On Friday, we went and visited Grandpa and Grandma Kathy.. and looked around in a 2 storie Safeway

Joe "going up the elevator" with a cart... the first storie was for cars, parking space.

Us "arriving at the top" (note: this could not have been real, the elevator doors are shut, and we arn't all out LOL)

Safeway

Joe playing golf at Grandpa's house
On Saterday, we revisited the thrift stores, went to the Guitar Center, and visited some friends and went home... so, that was my week, how was yours?
