~Welcome!~

Needing a little help.

Well I got the news.  The economic stimulus checks for turbox tax people are being mailed instead of direct deposited.  So instead of getting our check last week, it will be mailed out at the end of June.  SOOOOOO that means that I am not going to be able to buy all of the curriculum that I wanted to. So I am going to be buying it subject by subject unless I can find somewhere that I can get it for cheap.  So if anyone has any suggestions Im very open to them.  Othewise I will be buying and doing one subject at a time.  Which I guess isn't the end of the world, but I don't like doing it that way.  Help?? lol

Hey Renee. I like http://rocksolidinc.com/ it's as cheap as I have found so far. Plus you get free shipping over $75. Can't beat that with a stick!!
You might try buying a little at a time that so you can get free shipping.....at least spending the $75 each time. I've done it that way before. I have yet to purchase mine, Gods been changing things up a bit so I'm so thankful that I waited like He said. I think I'm just about done with my final list. But then comes the planning........it's by far more planning/researching than I've ever done, but I'm really enjoying it as well as my children. The fruit of it has been wonderful. Anyway.....rambling here.
Glad you are enjoying my weather study, take all the ideas you want!
Oh you can go to Mardel's to take a look at the various books they have, but I wouldnt make any major purchases there b/c of the cost. But its a gret place to browse and get your list together.

Have a blessed weekend!

I totally understand! We are in the exact same boat - aren't getting ours til the end of June because we used Turbo Tax...AND I plan to buy my curriculum with it as well. I was hoping to get it earlier because I need time to sort through it, read it and begin my planning before things begin to get really crazy around here. BUT, I'll just have to wait it out I guess!
Hope it all works out for ya dear!

BTW, we are using Tapestry of Grace - the link is on my links list. It is a very thorough curriculum and not exactly cheap because you have to buy some of the books to go with it. The rest you can get from your local (or inter-) library. It is a very hands on curriculum and I am SO excited to use it. You can use it for multiple children at a time so you don't have to keep re-buying it for each child every year. :) It does require you to have your own grammar and math, though. I am going to be buying "Simply Grammar" and just use the math workbooks I have from LIFEPAC at the moment.
