Amy's Audio Book List
Certainly not a complete list; this is more like a list of books I know are available because we have listened to them! Some of these books are available at your local library, some are at audible.com, and some can only be purchased from the various other sources referenced previously. Some of these books we really loved. Most of them we really enjoyed them. A few, like The Bronze Bow from audible were not read very well. I plan to add reviews of both books and readers a few at a time. One rule of thumb is to always give a new book 3-4 chapters to accept the reader and get into the book. Thank you. In addition, some of the books that can be purchased from Audible I do not recommend, so be sure to read the reviews in my Audio Book Review category.
The bottom line is; We try not to insist on parent-led learning or gravitate toward child-led learning. We try instead to focus on God-led learning and ask for His input and perspective on every aspect of our home school. That way, when others fuss about what Dan and I are doing and make me second guess our decisions -- I can go back to our decision process and find God's fingerprints, reminding me that this is His way.
