On Kissing Dirty Feet
I love baby feet! Since my littlest boy was a tiny baby, he has loved to have his feet kissed. When he was just a couple months old, a few kisses on his feet would send him into gales of laughter; and soon every diaper change *had* to include a foot kiss or two! He would hold them up in the air; or press them right onto my mouth for a kiss! After bathtime, he would want me to kiss his feet for ten minutes straight; rolling with laughter the whole time and so excited to be loved. Babies are so adorable aren't they? A few months ago, I was changing his diaper and he put up his feet to be kissed. They were so dirty! I couldn't believe it... What happened to my precious, always clean baby feet? These were still precious feet, but I did not want to kiss them. Bless his little heart. Only a few months has passed since that tiny little peck on dirty feet; followed by a quick clean up with a baby wipe! Now, he never offers me his feet. He has grown up a little, grown out of that stage, and forgotten all about our little game. Oh, that I could kiss his dirty feet one more time!
Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog and pointing me this way! Does the meme have a description blog to point to and/or a logo? Those would help the word spread I think.
I am going to try it (if I can find where the camera went to!). For now, I will link to your current Mondays Mothering post. Let me know if you get a logo and I'll add it to my MM posts. :D

The bottom line is; We try not to insist on parent-led learning or gravitate toward child-led learning. We try instead to focus on God-led learning and ask for His input and perspective on every aspect of our home school. That way, when others fuss about what Dan and I are doing and make me second guess our decisions -- I can go back to our decision process and find God's fingerprints, reminding me that this is His way.
