Jun. 23, 2007 - Narration -- Jonathan's First Narration

The Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time there were three little pigs that one time built a house for their own.  The great big wolf came and said, “Oh let me in.”  and the little first little pig said “No, not to the tip of my chinny chin chin.”  Then the big bad wolf said “Allright, then I will huff and puff and blow your house down.”  Then the one little pig ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran until he got to the house of sticks.  The big wolf chased and chased and chased and chased until he got to the stick house.  Then he said, “Let me in.”  The pig with the stick house said “Not to my chinny chin chin.”  “O.K. Then” the big wolf said, “I’ll huff and puff and blow your house down.”  Then the two little pigs ran and ran and ran and ran until they go to the brick house.  The big bad wolf chased and chased and chased and chased and chased until he got to the brick house and then he said “Let me in!”  And then the three little pigs said, “Not to our chinny chin chin.”  Then said the big bad wolf, “I’ll huff and puff and blow your house down.”  Then he huffed and puffed and blew and tried to blow the house down; but it did not blow down.  So, they happily stayed home safe and not sad, because the one little house of bricks had stayed built.

The End.

About Me

The bottom line is; We try not to insist on parent-led learning or gravitate toward child-led learning. We try instead to focus on God-led learning and ask for His input and perspective on every aspect of our home school. That way, when others fuss about what Dan and I are doing and make me second guess our decisions -- I can go back to our decision process and find God's fingerprints, reminding me that this is His way.
