Our Drive Out East
We had a great drive out East. We made it to Uncle Richard's in about 24 hours. The boys did wonderful in the car. They each had a time in the middle of the night when they stayed awake and just sat quietly. Getting presents every hour was a highlight for them. Bryce loved the activity books and Micah enjoyed playing with his monkey. Derek did most of the driving, I did some but I am not fond of so many semi's.
Once in Landenberg, we realized that Uncle Richard was still at work so we went to see if Cousin Jay was home. Thankfully he was. We are staying at Cousin Jay's house. The boys had a great time exploring his yard. The trampoline and the sand box were big hits. They also had lots of fun collecting pine cones. After getting all wet and muddy we went in a got cleaned up before heading to Uncle Richard's for dinner. It was a good time of visiting. |
